I'm was always a skeptic...until now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to test out the Wet2Straight 2" Flat Iron from Remington. I will be the first to admit that I am always the skeptic until I try it out. I have long medium thick hair. I used to have to always let my hair air dry after I wash my hair. Blow drying would just make it frizzy x's 100! I like that with this flat iron I can do 2 simple things in one task. For starters I like the size of the plates on this flat iron. People like me with long and medium thick hair need bigger plates in my opinion. Little plates wont do anything to my hair! Next, I would like to say that I like that I dont have to wait a long time for the flat iron to heat up. When I started to use the product I only tried a *little* section first. I have never seen a flat iron that would also dry your wet hair so I was nervous thinking, "what is this going to do to my hair.". When I actually did the test section, I was surprised at how well it actually was doing. With my mind at ease now, I went into it how I normally would straighten my hair. Upon diving into the task of drying/straightening my hair I noticed that since my hair was wet, when I would make a pass with the iron on a section of hair that it would be extremely hot!! I couldnt do the same section twice right in a row because it was too hot to touch. I think that might be the only thing that was concerning for me. Aside from that, I think overall in the end the wet2straight flat iron is a great product for what its supposed to do. If I was on a time crunch this would be my go to straightener.

Time saver!!

I have been using it for a bit now, and have found that while I do have to go back over my hair after it is dry to get it totally straight, it is a time saver. My hair is extremely thick and course. It is easily damaged, so I am very careful not to use extreme heat on it. Blow drying dries my hair out bad. Thus far, I have no damage to my hair from using this product and I love that! It also heats up super fast and that is perfect for busy mornings.I would recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hair straightener is amazing. It heats up quick, and I only have to run it over each set of hair maybe twice if that. I also love that I'm able to straighten my hair while it's wet, it kills two birds with one stone. I wouldn't recommend doing it with dripping wet hair, I'd towel dry it a little then run it through. Anyways, this is a great product and I definitely recommend it.

twice the time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this would be nice to use. That it would cut my hair styling time in half. So not true. I used it on my damp hair. It took 4 - 5 slow times with the iron to get my hair to feel dry and then it left it so frizzy and wavy. I ended up frustrated, got out the blow dryer and my straightening iron and finished my hair. I do have naturally curly/wavy hair so I am not sure if that played a part in the straightener not leaving my hair straight. I wasn't comfortable having to do so many passes on my hair to get it the way I like.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I noticed a big different in my daughter's wild and crazy hair. With her being so frizzy all the time we need something to tame it. This did the job. It's small enough for her to use on her own. It heats up to a temp that is perfect for her hair and doesn't burn it. It also gives a shine to her hair that I've never seen before.
