This is my 3rd one and find that it probably vacuums 90% or more of the cuttings, saving a lot of clean up. I have had a beard since 1972 and have used quite a few different trimmers over the years and usually have more than one. I have two others that have longer attachments to cut head hair as well and one has a small pop up trimmer blade that is extremely sharp if you want to cut more like a razor or electric razor. However, I use the Remington vacuum trimmer the vast majority of the time.

Perfect Trimmer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the absolute perfect trimmer! It cuts very well on my thick stubble like cutting through butter! It doesn't snag and pull like I have experienced with others in the past. The best part of all is the fact that it vacuums up as you shave!! My wife LOVES this feature!!! No more hair to clean up. No matter how much I try, I always miss some. FYI: This does not vacuum 100% of the hairs. However, it does get 95% of the hairs! Good enough for me. I just wipe up the tiny little bit and I am done!! Usually I am spending as much time cleaning my mess as I am shaving. Not anymore!!! We plan on buying one for my dad for Father's Day this year! It is the perfect gift!! I highly recommend this shaver!!!!

Remington Vacuum Beard Trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works as described , I did notice that the vacuum chamber were the clipped hair is collected is on the smaller size for those guys with large beards , you will be emptying it more often than not. But it does eliminate the mess in the bathroom sink, instead now you just dump the chamber in the trash and continue on shaving/grooming your beard. Interesting concept , I would say it's worth a try if you have a beard that you maintain on a daily basis and are tired of the mess in the bathroom sink and are looking for something new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Remington Products - Vacuum Beard and Stubble Trimmer gives me a nice cut like I want. I love the idea to catch the haircas I’m trimming because I usually leave a mess and have to hear my wife complain. That’s definitely a plus for less mess!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this for a few weeks and couldn't be happier. I would sometimes just skip trimming because my past trimmer wasn't giving me the look I wanted. This one is so easy to use and you can get a trim custom to what you want. I prefer a closer trim and it's so easy and much less time consuming. It is also comfortable to hold which makes trimming easier. I highly recommend it. It has made my life so much easier.

Vacuum sucks good. Detail trimmer sucks; not good

The vacuum feature works well.
However, after following the instructions and charging prior to my first use the battery died or the motor stalled/locked up. I spent a day turning the shaver on until I completely drained the battery and then tried again charging over night. So far the trimer has not stalled again. The beard guide works well and snaps into place and is locked there which is better than my previous trimmer which could slide out of place if you were not carful.
The unit is very long and then even longer when the detail trimer is attached. The detail trimmer is the biggest source of frustration aside from the anxiety I have that the trimmer will lock up again. With he detail trimmer attached you either have to have an unruly amount of length between you and your beard, or choke up your grip and block the air vent, decreasing the efficacy of the vacuum. Also the detail trimmer seems dull or weak, it snags and pinches the skin on my neck pretty badly.
For the price I guess I am not super shocked, that something sucked but it is a drag that I may need to get another detail trimmer. But the Vacuum works well and that keeps my girlfriend happy and saves me clean up time. If you already have a detail trimmer that works and you want to be more tidy when you trim maybe consider this, but if this going to be your only trimmer and you do any kind of fine or edge work this is not the tool for you.
