Heats up quickly, clear display

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this product for free in exchange for a review. Iron heated up quickly, digital display was easy to read and adjust. Heated plates smoothed hair evenly without burning hair. No electrical odor noted. Handle of iron did get warm but not too hot to hold.

Great for color treated hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unsure about any claims for “color care” but inthink this could actually be true! I recently colored my hair red and my regular straightener can cause my hair to look dull. After using this one for a week now, my hair looks shiny and bright. I love it. There isn’t a weird burning smell like a lot of hair straighteners have. It’s sleek design looks good sitting in my vanity. Wonderful product!

Love the hinge lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Remington 1” Flat iron to test and i love all its features especially the hinge lock and and that it protect color treated hair. The small sleek design is good for when i travel, i also like that it has a auto shut off since I’m forgetful at times overall this is a wonderful product and i will purchase for family for Christmas. My hair feels so soft and smooth after using this straightner it also leaves it nice and shiny and not dull or dried looking will be using this product from now own all the old straightener have been replaced. I’m also in love with the fact i can get curls with this Remington pro unlike other products!

Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great flat iron. It worked on my big bushy wild crazy hair. See what I'm getting at. It tamed a beast lol It has several different heat settings and heats up super fast. Takes me 10 minutes to do, looks so nice when it's done too. Easy to store away because it's not huge. A good find!

Pulls hair

I have purchased Remington flat irons in the past and have always been quite pleased, so it seemed like a no brainer to purchase from them again. I did some research and found that this model got great reviews. I did read a handful of reviews that said that it pulled hair, but I guess I was just hoping to not be one of the unlucky ones. Unfortunately that’s exactly what it does. In addition to pulling my hair it leaves a kink in my hair midway through straightening and then tugs especially hard at the end, leaving the bottom hairs looking split and fried. Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am in love with my Remington 1" flat iron with color care technology. It is lightweight, which is a must. It takes my long, thick, damaged, color treated hair and leaves it smooth and sleek in minutes.
