Best Cooking Appliance

About what you’d expect from something “As Seen On

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave this thing 3 stars because it’s not a total failure, but there’s very few things it gets right.
Pros:
1) Sear function works pretty good. Cooked a boneless chicken breast very nicely.
2) Rotisserie is great as well (although we could only fit a tiny chicken on it). Perfectly juicy bird.
3) Overall looks are pretty cool as well. I like the overall design (just not the size).

Cons:
1) A bit big and bulky. I get that it’s meant to replace several appliances, but c’mon now. It’s bigger than my microwave.
2) There should be warning stickers on the glass letting you know how hot it gets. My daughter burned her fingers just touching it for a second. The handles got very hot as well. That’s not normal. Basically…the whole freaking thing heats up when cooking. It sucks at containing the heat within like other devices would.
3) Air fryer function is not great. Frozen French fries just became soggy. It basically just defrosted them.
4) There’s no way to “easily” attach air fryer basket handle when pulling basket out. Not very user-friendly.
5) The aforementioned tiny chicken. The picture on the box would lead one to believe that you could do something akin to a large bird, but no. Cornish game hen size is what you can do.
6) The amount of settings you have to scroll through just to start cooking something is a bit annoying and not very user-friendly either.

Is it possible to be too hot?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] YES! This airfryer oven does get hot, of course, but seriously, it is way over the top!
It works great for air frying, and roasting, but every time I tried the toast function, it burned the back edge of toast, and left the rest pale. Now this is not the biggest deal in the world, I found I can just "bake" the toast and its fine, but why have a function that is bad? I noticed it was extraordinarily hot on the handles when I open the doors to get food out. This seems wrong! And it literally melted a heatpad meant to put pans on right out of the oven or stove. I'd used it alot previously, and no problems. I noticed the pad was tearing apart, and the roasting pan (which comes with this oven) had melted, burned pieces on it which I cannot scrub off or even get off in the dishwasher. Its just odd! On the plus side, its fast fast fast-probably due to the heat, for air frying frozen items. Just uses half the time needed!
I was hoping for something better, because I like the french door opening, and that the trays fit tight inside, also that it has a charcoal filter on the back. I can't deal with all of the heat though, and you shouldn't need mits to open an oven door! Sorry, this gets a "meh" vote from me.

Works great, design is a little finicky.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall impression: this is a great oven/air fryer/grill combo. Only a couple things I would change.
The grill: I really wasn’t sure about this feature. I went ahead and followed the recipe book that’s included to make steak. It makes perfect grill marks and the cooking time of 4-5 minutes a side was exactly right for me (medium rare). I was impressed! If you like a hard sear on the whole steak, this grill is not for you. The grill marks look so nice and even, it’s like something you would see in an ad! Another pro is that this is a great, nearly smokeless way of cooking a steak. If you have a sensitive smoke detector like me, you’ll know that can be a huge plus.
The air fryer and oven: Work great, no complaints here. The air fryer gets fries perfectly crispy. I’ve made roast potatoes in the oven and they were perfect - and I didn’t have to use my huge stove.
The not so great: The doors open to the sides. I don’t quite understand this. There’s a gap in the front that lets out hot air and smoke depending on what you’re cooking - it’s not a terrible amount, but it is noticeable. Also noticeable is that you have to make very sure to open the doors aaaall the way (wider than I instinctively would) to make sure they don’t slam shut on you. It would be better if they could slowly close or at least have a seal somehow so there is no gap. To be honest, I’d rather just have a standard oven door.

Not Just an Air Fryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you haven’t tried Kalorik MAXX 26 Quart Digital Air Fryer Oven Grill, you need to go get one! I love this machine. It’s easy to use, clean and easy to pick up. So, far we’ve made chicken wings, dehydrated some beef, and grilled fish. Clean up is simple. I already have two air fryers and a food dehydrator. I told my honey its time to pack those up because we don’t need them. Oh, it’s quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I got this. As soon as it arrived I set it up and wanted to make something. I love how this air fryer is so versatile. It goes up to 500 degrees which is great. I can’t wait to make some pizza. So far I’ve made some fried chicken and chips. It tastes delicious and so crispy. It to me actually taste way better than if it was actually fried. This air fryer is sort of on the bigger side of an appliance so make sure you have the counter top space for it. But it is so worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes I don’t want to use my oven. It takes a lot of time to heat up. This appliance heats up in no time. I decided to roast a chicken. There is even heating and strong heating. It is made sturdy and easy to use. Not to mention it is pretty nice looking sitting on my counter. I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using the Kalorik for a few weeks and trying out the many options and it is very versatile and lots of fun. It fit snugly on my kitchen counter under my cabinets . Originally I was going to get a single air fryer but this offered so many possibilities all in one it seemed a better deal even though it costs a bit more. no issues after a number of uses in various modes. Would recommend for anyone who wants to try out cooking with different methods in easy manner.
