Hands Down the BEST!

Good Air Fryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Food really does get crispy and hot with this Kalorik Air Fryer Oven. I like that this comes with so many trays and accessories. It helped me take advantage of all of its functions without having to go out and buy more things. A lot of food can fit into the Kalorik at one time, so I happily avoided having to cook in batches when cooking for multiple people. The french glass doors look pretty but are functionally not the best. I have accidentally touched the sides of the doors several times because of the way they open and the spring causes it to slam shut quite easily. Best to wear gloves and long sleeves when inserting and removing trays. The interior packaging is made up mostly unrecyclable materials and is not frustration free with a lot of filament reinforced tape and several tight zip ties that require sharp scissors to cut off. In contrast, the outer box had flimsy tape that was starting to come off the bottom. I think they did really well with the included written materials. The quick guide and instruction book are well written and very clear, which often is not the case. The charcoal filter is an interesting addition to the fryer but can get messy when installing and easily broken. The machine is lighter in weight and build/construction than you would expect for the size. I like that the fan keeps rotating for 3 minutes after you are done so that the machine can start to cool down. The moisture catching tray (“drip groove”) is a nice update to the machine and captures the excess moisture from hitting your countertops. The Kalorik keeps the kitchen cooler by not having to turn on a big oven. Although it can be an oven and a grill, I think this machine functions best and most reliably as an air fryer. Tater tots came out crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Cornmeal crusted catfish and battered chicken came out crispy on the outside but still moist on the inside. Overall, it is an aesthetically nice looking machine that works well as an air fryer and mini toaster oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the size of this air fryer is a bit big for my kitchen, I love how many things I can do with it! I’ve been air frying vegetables nightly, but also used it to bake, toast, and hope to dehydrate fruit this weekend. Also want to try a chicken with the rotisserie function. A keeper!

A Great Little Oven!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first time trying an air fryer oven, so I was a little intimidated, but it comes with really easy instructions and a little recipe book, so I started with that. Everything is clearly marked and easy to put together (and by put together I mean just taking some wrapping off of the shelves and deciding the configuration of what you want to use - it comes very securely packed). It's about the size of two small toaster overs stacked on each other, so it takes up some counter space, but looks sleek. It already knows the time and temperature for items which is great, you just turn the knob and start. Only bummer is that the doors in the front aren't air tight, there's a small gap between them, so some steam gets out. Overall, I really like it.

A Summer Must Have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 10 in 1 Air Fryer Oven is a must have for the summer because unlike an actual kitchen oven, This doesn't heat up the house. This has all the features plus additional features when comparing it to my old air fryer and it's bascially silent . My old air fryer I couldn't watch TV while cooking because it was so loud and the only time I hear the Kalorik is when it beeps to tell me my food is done.
The machine is an easy set up and I had no trouble figuring out how to use it but it will take a while to fully be confident with cook times as it's a new machine and tooks different than my other but that is normal with all new applicances .
The only complaint I had with this system was I read the baking tray was suppose to be Non Stick . The pizza I made stuck a little but I put it as my fault because some of the cheese melted onto the tray but after washing it and later making cookies, those stuck as well .
I love this product but wish these were non stick though other than that I had no complaints .

Versatile

The double doors made it so much easier to clean the stainless steel matched my decor perfectly. Iam totally addicted i use it for everything. I have already recommended it to my family and friends.

Tons of functions and great use of counter space

* efficient use of counter space: the oven is about as wide a toaster oven, a bit deeper and a lot taller. So this use of vertical space instead of horizontal space makes it very space efficient relative to other combo ovens that I've seen.
* lots of functions: this little oven does really come with a lot of functions and trays. This makes it very flexible for accomplishing a wide variety of tasks. Airfryer, oven, dehydrator etc. Oh my!
* the air fryer mode works better than the air fryer mode on my big, expensive new electric oven. The food cooks faster as it heats up the small space very well.
* if you are making something that starts smoking, the charcoal filter in the back will catch some of the smoke
* the number of attachments and functions can seem overwhelming at first but the quick start guide is great at focusing on what matters

Negatives:
* the controls: it's a turn-knob combined with touch buttons for the various functions. In of itself there's nothing bad about this. However, the controls are so poorly made and a source of irritation that I'd subtract a full star just for that. I was convinced that the touch button for Oven mode was broken, until I realized two days later that it sorta kinda works if you really lean into it and push hard. The turn knob feels rickety and cheap, like something attached to a children's toy.
* for some unknown reason after you turn it off, the fan kicks on for 2-3 minutes. Why? What's the benefit of having it cool down a little faster instead of letting it radiate the heat on its own?
