Great functionality some drawbacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every since I got this unit, I've stopped using my toaster oven and acti-fry. I love all the functions the Kalorik max offers in one unit. The air fry feature is fast and powerful, and holds lots of vegetables. The bake and toast features work as I would expect. I was surprised to see the grill function, which has you putting the grill plate directly onto the searing element but it gave my burger patties a really good sear. I also tried the rotisserie function which is not common with toaster ovens. My chicken smelled so good!
There are a couple drawbacks -- I prefer the door folding down than to the sides. When I pull the air fry tray out, the contents drop on my counter instead of the doors. I also find it easier to burn myself from the sides of the door. I also notice the doors don't create an airtight seal, and even with the charcoal filter I noticed the room filling with smoke from baking.
Overall though, this is a super versatile tool that I enjoy having. I just wish they would switch the door positioning and make the doors more airtight.

Frys fast!

The first think I tried to cook was fried chicken and the air fryer made it to sooo crispy. Just be careful because it does cook the food a bit on the faster side. Another cool thing about the air fryer that I am excited to use is the dehydrator

Awesome except 1 thing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great compact-sized countertop oven. It is spacious and is able to cook things quickly and evenly. I wanted this oven to see if I can reduce the number of appliances I had-- to see if it can replace by a stand-alone air fryer. While the air fryer feature of this Kalorik oven does the job, the ease of cleaning is not the same as a "normal" air fryer that uses a basket nestled in another enclosure. The challenge I am having with this oven is when you air fry with the included wire basket, any and all fat/oil drippings drop all over the bottom heating coils and the bottom tray. This requires going in and cleaning the coils to prevent them from catching fire when using it the next time. If you are air frying something that you don't expect to drip (e.g., a pie, pastries), then it works perfectly!

Best air fryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The set-up was easy. I love that you have everything in one appliance. The airfryer is fantastic! Love being able to make my pizza or garlic bread in the toaster oven. Biggest surprise is how juicy my steak was using the grill. The only downside is the start and stop is a little hard to turn on and off. The touchscreen is very sensitive and it is bulky, but it compensates with all the use you get out of one product. Highly recommend!

Too many loose attachments

Only complaint keeping it from getting 5 stars is the fact that the attachments have no storage compartment so every time I use it. Clean it. Store it I have nowhere to put all the pieces except inside.

Makes cooking easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to try this oven. I cook a few times a week and I knew this would make things easier around the kitchen. I have cooked a few meals on this oven and the food comes out nice and crispy. The oven is easy to use once you get the hang of it and it will make cooking way faster. I really like the sleek and modern design. The only thing I was worried about was the size since I have limited counter space. Even though it's a little bulky, the time it saves cooking and being able to avoid using my regular oven makes it worth it. I am looking forward to using it in the upcoming holiday season.

Looks great but could use some fine-tuning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this Kalorik air fryer for the past week and I'm just not impressed. I have an old Ninja air fryer that looks to be maybe 4-6 quarts that does the job a lot better.
The Kalorik is HUGE...on the outside. This thing will eat up all your counter space. And it is HEAVY. Don't even think you're going to put it in a cabinet (assuming it would even fit) and lift it up onto the counters often. It's also VERY loud. The beeps are so irritating and there's no way to silence them. Just setting the oven to cook made so many annoying beeps that I rushed through the steps to make it stop. It didn't seem to have that much power either. It took over an hour at 400 to blister 6 poblano peppers. My Ninja does 3 peppers in less than 20 minutes, so call it 40 minutes for 6 peppers.
As for the construction, it definitely feels cheap. The dial is hollow and flimsy. The door handles are plastic and clearly not built to last. The doors themselves are an accident waiting to happen. You must open them all the way and make sure the latch catches...or else it slams back shut on your hands. I see many lawsuits in their future! Mine also has a pretty decent gap in the front where the doors don't exactly meet.
I would say this is only a good fit for someone who doesn't have an oven/stove and already has a large toaster oven on their counter permanently and plans to replace it. Casual air fryers can skip this one. It's simply too large and bulky to make it worth it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
