The best hard-boiled eggs EVER!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love eggs in our house, but my son will only eat them if they are hard-boiled. It's a chore to boil them on the stove - they take forever, and then your kitchen smells like toots for 3 days. So when I had the chance to try out the Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker, I was excited to do so. First of all, it's very aptly named - I don't think the process could be made any easier: plug it in, pour the measure of water in the reservoir plate, poke a hole in the wide end of the egg with the provided tool then place them in the holder, replace the lid, press the button, and wait. In about 10 minutes or so, your eggs are done, and perfectly cooked. The yolk is a lovely bright yellow, with not a hint of the gray tinge that they get when boiled on the stove. But I think my favorite thing has to be that this process is completely odorless! The booklet says that by poking the small hole in one end, it 'releases the sulfury compounds' that cause the unpleasant smell. I don't know where they go, maybe the hot steam vaporizes them or something, but there is no bad smell left behind, and it's awesome. I love this little gadget, and would recommend it to anyone who cooks eggs on a regular basis.

We go through a lot of hard boiled eggs in our house and now I whip up a batch of deviled eggs in no time. Perfect! Would make a great gift, also. I'm going to order 2 more for my sons!

Quick, Easy and Clean Way to Cook Eggs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great things about this egg cooker include - it looks good (i.e. can sit on the counter top), it's small (i.e. doesn't take up much room), and it cooks eggs well. It's also easy to clean up, and doesn't make hardly any mess anyway. Good way to help get your protein easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so impressed with this machine, it made perfect hard boiled eggs than cooked in less time than traditional stove top method, with a touch of a button. It even shuts off so you have perfectly cooked eggs. The two poached eggs turned out amazing! Next I’m going to try the omelette making. I’m in love with this machine. I’m going to buy another one so that I can feed more to my family!

I love making ( and eating) deviled eggs and this makes it so much easier. It's perfect every time. I'm also in love with the fact that it stores a way easily and so far simple to clean. My family eats a lot of boiled eggs and no matter what I tried they almost always were hard to peel. The Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker is amazing and has changed my life, seriously... It is so easy to use, you fill the included measuring cup with water to the line for type of egg you want, I choose hard. Then pour the water on the metal plate, place the egg holder down, and put the eggs in the spots. Then you simply put the dome cover on and press the button, that's it!! It beeps when it is done and you place the eggs in an ice bath for a couple minutes and they come out perfect every time! They are so easy to peel and the shells usually come off in 2 pieces. It has simplified my busy life and this is my favorite thing. I have told everyone they need one, lol!! When you make poached eggs or omelets, you place the included trays on top of the egg holder, not directly on the metal tray like others have done, that will melt the plastic obviously. Poached eggs come out perfect as well. I haven't tried an omelet yet. After using, the metal try will have a little brown spot on it. After it cools down, just simply wipe with a wet paper towel with a little white vinegar and dish soap and then wipe again with just water on the paper towel, that's what I do and it looks new after that. Just buy it!! It's a life changer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elite Gourmet Easy Egg Cooker is such a big help in the kitchen! I honestly don't like to make hard boiled eggs because I hate having to boil them, so I honestly only make them one time a year. With the easy egg cooker I have been able to make boiled eggs a ton with hardly any work or clean up. With this little egg machine all you have to do to get the perfect hard boiled egg is measure out your water with the measuring cup that is provided and pour it in the bottom of the cooker and lay down the egg holder. After that you can add up to seven eggs to which you will need to take the measuring cup again and it has a little egg poker at the end and poke a tiny hole into each egg at the top of them. Then you will place your eggs in the egg rack with the hole that is in the egg facing upward. Then you will place the lid on and plug the egg cooker up and push the button and let it do the work. Once the cooker is done it will beep to let you know it is done and then I let them sit in the cooker for up to 3 more minutes. After that I take and place the eggs in cold water and peel and you have the perfect boiled egg! The egg cooker can also make poached eggs as well as omelets. Those settings work great as well! The one and only con i have for this item is the power button. If it accidentally gets pushed to the on position, it will be on when you plug it up. So you will need to either make sure you have everything exactly ready or I like to just put the smallest amount of water in it and let it run a small cycle and then once it is done start what I was actually going to make and then push the power button. Other than that I would highly recommend this product it has changed how I will forever make my hard boiled eggs!
