I bought the T15 15" about 1 month ago. I do a lot of data analysis and writing, and up to this point it has been a great computer. Nice upgrade from my T470

Not to mention the light weight but solid body case which won't leave any finger prints like most other competitors. But the T series has always been top notch for business and personal use.

A capable laptop, fast with adequate storage, but with several faults.
The fingerprint reader works poorly, often unable to identify the user, even after multiple attempts. This is unlike the fingerprint reader on earlier Thinkpads, which worked flawlessly.
The keypad is not backlit, which is often a serious inconvenience, and there aren't enough USB ports. Making that worse, the only USB port on the right side of the laptop is close to the front of the computer, which interferes with the use of an external mouse (if you are right-handed).

My old surface book was doing ok until I started using it for Power-Bi.. After purchasing one of these to test, I have purchased this model for the rest of the company.
Purchasing the extended warranty and service allows for us to not worry about these machines, even if something pops up for several years. After 2 months of heavy use, i would not go back to my year old surface book.. bst laptop i have used in years.
