[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weight on this unit really surprised me. Its quite light compared to my previous laptop. I rated it a 4/5. For the price i could have gotten a touch screen. I am satisfied so far with speed and power. I wld recommend this unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is pretty much what you expect out of a Thinkpad. Nice and fast, amazing build quality and user comfort.
Not 5 stars because battery life is NOWHERE near what is advertised. I've been getting ~4, maybe 5 hours of usage, not the 12-13 that is advertised. Charges in 1.25 hours though, which is much faster than my previous Thinkpad (probably because of the smaller battery).
Also it runs quite hot, even when not on high performance mode. CPU occasionally underclocks for no apparent reason which causes hiccups in usage. If you use tpmiddle, be prepared to have to sub in that functionality with a sub-par solution. That goes for any newer Thinkpad unfortunately. I use another program that mostly solves it but I lost trackpoint horizontal scrolling and it's sad.
