I initially purchased the SRS-RA3000 model, and then I purchased this model. As I liked the 3000 model, I was expecting a lot more room filling sound from the 5000 model, but the output only appears to be slightly better. I was expecting a fuller more intimate surround sound feeling, but I am bit disappointed.
Overall the sound is generally good, but I was expecting more. Not sure if a firmware update can improve performance, or do I have to wait for the SRS-RA7000?
The final con is that the 360 Reality Audio catalog is still very limited.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If the sw version is displayed lower than 1.43, we strongly recommend that you update the firmware for general improvement of this speaker. If you're not sure, it's easy to check which version of the firmware you currently have by visiting the link below:

We also recommend turning on the Immersive Audio Enhancement. While the Immersive Audio Enhancement is turned on, you can experience the music of typical 2-channel playback in a three-dimensional sound field.
You can use “Sony | Music Center” to turn on/off the Immersive Audio Enhancement as well.
