I purchased this pole chain saw because after checking all other makes, I found that this saw appeared to be of a better quality for the money...After using only once, I have no regrets and find that this saw is outstanding for use as a homeowner.....

Love it, I have damage to my back & shoulder. I was dreading trimming my 6 fruit trees with a ladder & chain saw. The Sun Joe pole saw made quick work of the trees. The adjustable head made trimming the upper branches easy. It's not too heavy at full reach. I highly recommend it.

Been using a manual pole saw for 20 years and (now in my 60s) I decided I can't stand in one spot for hours hacking back and forth to cut a 2 inch limp. Found this on Walmart and decided to go for it. It arrived and was easy to put together. I have used chain saws all my life and even though this is technically a "chain saw", it is more like a saws-all on a pole. This thing ROCKS. No noise, gas or smoke.
It cuts like butter and I actually look forward to finding more use for it. No more wiggling through the limbs to get access to the cut. Now just shove it in there and whack it off. I now cut my way in. I start at the ends of the limb and cut the end off then work my way back as clearance will allow. A couple of cuts along the way and the entire limb is down and I am still standing in the clear. If you have any limbs to trim, don't get out the gas and oil pull- rope saw and grab this and be done before you would get the old gas saw started. I should have bought this decades ago. NOTE: I first started to set up the saw out of the box and attached the bar with chain. I loosened the nut (holding the sprocket cover) by finger's grip and it easily removed. I set everything up and tightened it back like I found it. Then I noticed a tool/wrench accessory in the box which had the one end screwdriver for tightening the chain tension, and the other end had a hex nut wrench. Wondering what on earth the saw had that required a wrench I looked at the manual and saw the bar/chain tightening sprocket cover has a hex nut. I was loosening and tightening the cover with my fingers not realizing the actual nut was hidden UNDER the plastic cover I was loosening and tightening with my fingers. You have to pry the nut's cover off with the other end (screwdriver) of the wrench to access the actual nut.

This saw is a life saver with a 2 year warranty. Registering it online gave me 90 days additional...I am so upset I didn't get this decades ago.

Excellent pole saw and customer service

First I revived a defective pole saw that did not operate. I contacted customer service and the were very helpful. I was sent a brand new pole saw and it arrived at my door within a few days.
I used the new pole saw to cut the tops of two trees off. The unit was very powerful and exceeded my expectations! Sun Joes equipment is very good and i would recommend to my friends.
