Modem is great, the router side not so much. Horrible GUI, 5G drops constantly if it's not a ax capable device and the manual seems to have been written by a 5 year old. (I have a ax ready device and it never drops but my older tv a ac ready device and laptop and heck, my Samsung s21 drops the 5g from time to time)

Decent price for specs but not worth it if doesn’t work properly. It becomes nightmare if you stream 3-4 hours long. Worth to mention Xfinity speed is up to 960mb/s not up to 1200mb/s.

Spectrum equipment that I had before was absolute garbage. Signal was fine but couldn't handle multiple devices (2 laptops, printer, 2 chromecasts, appleTV, etc). After switching to this ASUS CMAX6000 the reliability of the connection and speed across my home is finally where it needs to be.
I was able to setup my new router via the self-install link in under 5 minutes. I had to call Spectrum to remove the equipment charge off my bill.
Thanks Asus!

Wanted to upgrade older Motorola unit I have been using for about 3 years. CMAX6000 hit all the speed and scalability specs I wanted. Price was a slight premium to some of the other models out there but willing to pay a little more for quality. Unit powered up without any issue but I did need to contact service provider (Xfinity) to add new device and get reprovisioned. After about 30 minutes I was all set up. Took another 20 minutes to set up all my other internet devices. Unit has been on for a few days and speed is good and connection is strong. So far so good. Only negative is that Asus recommends connecting initially via ethernet cable and then once you have connection to switch over to wifi. I don't have a problem with instructions but ethernet cable they provided is extremely short and will only work logistically if your router is right next to computer device. I keep router in different room than main computer so I needed to provide my own. Not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.

Setup was a breeze. I used wifi setup which is not recommended, as I had no other option, it still was no problem getting it set up. Reason for not giving 5 stars is simply that I haven't used it but only for a few days and can't attest to how well it works and handles multiple users. So far so good though

Great for Small house. Easy setup, great performance, No AIMESH so didnt connect well with other Asus router, software was bad and didnt match other Asus network products I have. No way to change log in name, just your password. No way to check for firmware updates.

I love it! I buy mainly Asus products, as I am a fanboy, but mostly because Asus products have never let me down. I am seeing better connection, and my ping has been cut in half from my old router/modem combo, excellent product.

Have to reboot/restart the unit daily. Hard wired Connected gaming Devices will not stay connected wireless laptops, cell phone’s coming in and out of service cannot connect and every day I have to reboot the cable router.
