Great toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hot wheels set is amazing. Has kept my son busy for multiple hours at a time. The instructions were easy to read and set up was fast. Great for color shifter cars. The warm water to cold water works well. I would definitely recommend this to other parents. Our favorite hot wheels set so far.

Such a cool toy

It did take a while to put together but it was worth it to see my son’s excitement. It has so many fun features and it uses water to change the color of the car! My 5 year old
loved spraying water through the Octopus tentacles the most!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids (6 & 8) were very excited to get playing! Directions for assembly were easy enough - they were able to do it independently. It is BIG. About 4 feet long, but can fold for storage...still big and bulky though!!
I helped with the water - keep in mind, things will get wet, so play outdoors or put something under (I had a shower curtain ready). The car that comes with the set is covered in "toxic" green paint - so it's sticky and got all over our hands even before we put it in the water. It dripped too - so we had green paint splotches on our hardwood floor, but it wiped up easily enough, just annoying because I did NOT know what was happening! Once that paint was off, it's off forever. The car is white in cold water and turns blue with warm water. Would love to get more color changing hot wheels, but haven't come across any yet. Overall, fun and the color changing cars add a bit more excitement to the play!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing we noticed were the directions. They were TABBED! Meaning they had a labeled tag for each section that was being put together and I found that extremely helpful!
I set a timer and did not allow anyone to help in assembly, it took a total of 16 minutes for me to put together.
Once it was together, I noticed that it folds in half and there are two green pieces that become a carrying handle. Wicked easy to fold and portable is always favorable to me.

The car that came with it was green and had a slight odor. What I did not realize until we started playing was that the green color was a sort of paint and that is what washed off in the first warm water bay. It was actually quite cool to see. The car itself still changes color depending on whether it is in the warm water bay or cold water bay. The whole set up was quite easy for my 5 year old to figure out how to use. His favorite part so far is the octopus. Once the car reaches that area, you pull on one of then tentacles and the car spins while being sprayed. Just like a real car wash.
I am sure some would be concerned about water making a mess, we just used it on the deck, or if he's in the house, we lay a bath towel underneath. Sure, there's some water, but it's minimal and it's water. It's fun! I love watching him figure out new ways to use the tracks and hearing his dialogue while the cars are going through.
We received this as part of the Play, Rate, Review program in exchange for our honest opinion and I couldn't be happier. Since I value reviews so much, I would not steer you wrong. This item has so many different features and it so easy to clean up. Highly recommended!

Great for Hand Eye Coordination

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally wouldn’t relate a Hot Wheels toy to hand eye coordination but this track fascinated my kids and I could actually see their brain working to move the car from one side of the car wash to the other. Sometimes the car goes up, or down, or sideways, or on an angle and it takes awhile to get it from one end to the next. My kids loved it but so also loved that it really made them think. It really did provide hours of entertainment for them! Love this toy! If you put the water in it make sure it’s kept outside or in a bathroom as it can get a bit messy.

Ultimate fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sons received Hot Wheels ultimate car wash! It did require my help to set up after that they love it and have so much fun. It’s about 4 feet. It required hot and cold water, includes 1 color changing car. My sons are entertained for hours. Its the ultimate fun. Highly recommend it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheels set it great for any kid who loves water play! My 4 year old is obsessed with "washing" his cars and dinosaurs in the sink or tub. This really hit the mark for two of his favorite things. It does get pretty messy, but Mattel did a good job with the water catch trays (the blue tray that catches the most water is bowed in on the sides and doesn't fit snugly like the red tray does though). It was really quick and easy to assemble too. Everything was numbered and just snapped together. Make sure you buy extra color shifters Hot Wheels to go with it!
