Battery or gas?

I was hesitant to buy a battery powered unit as I've always used gas chain saws. I've only used it twice so far. I am impressed with the power and the ease of handling the unit. Much lighter than my telescoping gas unit. Not too heavy and cut through 3" diameter branches very quickly. Haven't had a chance to evaluate battery life.

Phenomenal tool! Cuts pretty thick branches really easily. Of course, you have to put chain lube pretty often and tighten the chain often too, but I'm sure that's with every pole saw. Either way, great tool!

Got rid of my gas pole saw years ago but corded electric has limitations. This saw is the answer. It's comparatively light and balanced. And I'm completely free to go anywhere on my ten acres. I've even climbed a tree to get to dead branches. So easy to use. Awesome product.

Meets all expectations

I bought this pole saw to cut down all the overgrowth on the hill in my backyard, and to help trim all the vines off the trees back there. It makes short work of it, and the added length prevents me from having to stabd on the hill side to do the work. Works great with the 60V 4Amp batteries that come with the Greenworks mowers, the weight of the 4Amp batteries counters the weight of the saw head well.
