A Cut Above the Rest - Pole Saw

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this pole saw is a cut above the rest. My wife got excited when she saw me pull it out of the box and it was 10 inches long. What a chain reaction she had! Wish she wanted to use it, but she won't touch it, even with a nine foot pole!
I would recommend this to a friend!

The oil was leaking within the tool everywhere when I put it together. The chain would not stay on the blade. Very disappointed

Sorry to hear that the unit is performing to your expectations. Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching. Tension techniques can be found in the owner's manual. The chain came off 4 times when making 30-40 cuts. It went back on fairly easy after the first 3 times, it I haven't tried the fourth time. I moved to the chain saw I bought and had worse problems with it. No email available on their website and when calling their number, I started out as the 2nd one on the list. After 30 minutes, I was still the 2nd on the list and gave up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No issues with shipping. Pole saw has plenty of cutting power and battery life is good. Shoulder strap is great assist in handling saw. Only issue I experienced is the chain came off the bar 4 times. I tried tightening chain but still came off. Appears to me when debris collects around sprocket and bar the chain comes off. I tried tightening down chain but stilll came off. I"ve never had this issue with my regular chain saw. I read a few other reviews with the same issue. Must be a design issue.

After we had a professional landscape company come to our house in the spring and watching them use a battery operated hedge trimmer i thought to my self why am i still dragging all my extension cords (1/2 of them repaired from cutting them with trimmer) and using my old electric trimmer. Saw this trimmer and as a bonus the pole saw and had to have it . I'm so glad i did easy to use and the results are great . I will admit it took awhile to get use to the hedge trimmer as it is heavier than the electric trimmer but I'm not dragging and stopping to repair the electric cord anymore ,as far as the pole saw goes i have a lot of trees in my yard and it works great to trim up the branches ! Battery life is awesome !

The saw leaks oil while hanging in storage. Manual advises to fill the oil container. Customer support response is yes it is supposed to leak just don't put more oil in than needed. How do you know how much is needed for each use? There is no easy way to get oil out after use.

The automatic chain oiler and reservoir holds 2.7 oz. of your favorite bar oil. That should give users about 30 minutes of cutting time between refilling, keep an eye on the translucent oil-level indicator window for safety.

We live on 3/4 acres in Florida and have lots of trees on our property that grow amazingly fast. I got this pole saw to try and keep the trees in check and it has worked like a champ. It’s easy to handle and easily cuts through branches several inches thick. I get tired of cutting way before I have to change the battery. Great product and I highly recommend it.
