We do recommend using Greenworks 80V 2Ah battery, a larger batter will work without issue, a smaller batter is a preference for a power to weight ratio story, you may experience using a heavier battery is the added weight to the unit which may not be as comfortable to handle as a smaller battery. Works great! Cuts fast,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pole-saw arrived today, charged battery and put it to work. Cuts limbs very fast. I need to get use to the balance but great saw for the price. Battery is interchangeable with the chain saw.
