Can't use pole with pole hedge trimmer, even though they offer them as a combo set.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Superb equipment

Light weight, easy maintenance/use, battery life exceptional but Greenworks should improve the chain mechanism to ensure less chain issues. Though I tried several chain adjustments, I spend too much time putting the chain back on then actually cutting tree limbs. I’m grateful for the fully electric aspect of the equipment however, I’d like to see innovation on the chain mechanism.

Cuts through limbs easily

Having 80 wooded acres is a challenge to keep clear, this saw cuts so easily that it takes seconds to cut down branches and move to the next tree. My regular 60 volt greenworks saw worked so well I thought I would give this a try and am really happy I did.

Works well without worrying about falling off a ladder

Quick and easy. Cuts very quickly and currently has a factory-sharp chain that hasn't barely been broken in. A great tool for reach and space where you don't want to get onto a ladder with a regular saw.

It is well balanced and has excellent reach. I would give it 5 stars except that the self oiling function is too generous and the oily chips clog the saw under the cover. You need to have extra bar oil on hand. That said, it’s powerful enough to cut well through large branches. It’s a very good tool.

amazing pole saw

I bought this pole saw to replace electric pole saw. Already had three batteries for chainsaw. This saw worked effortlessly cutting branches up to 16 feet high 4 inches diameter. Ran about an hour before battery needed to be exchanged. Just like the chainsaw better than I expected.

I bout this a couple weeks ago and love it. It made short work to my tree trimming at home. I can't wait to get it out on my hunting property to clean up shooting lanes!!!!
