Easy set up. Works well. I bit heavy with the battery at one end and the electric motor at the other, but not unreasonably so. Especially since it only extends to around 10 feet. Overall, I'm pleased

My new favorite outdoor tool

This is the perfect tool for trimming all the trees that seem to grow faster than weeds here in Connecticut. Works flawlessly and fast and i really like how high up I am able to easily trim tree branches.

The 10" 60V pole saw was just my latest Greenworks purchase. I started with a leaf blower and then a string trimmer. All three items were purchased with a battery and charger and all three are 60V. I can now use any of the three and have two fully charged backup batteries.

When using it laterally (horizontally) to trim thick hedges, I've had trouble with the chain disengaging. As a result, I've become quite good at resetting the chain on the bar. Maybe I need more experience and practice with the saw so that the chain will not disengage so often.

Chains stretch with use. When new, they stretch more. The tension on a new or newish chain should be checked and tightened every 20 minutes of cutting or so, it can get away from you fast. This is normal stretching.

Makes a difficult job easy

I have a lot of trees in my yard and I got tired of use my old fashion muscle-powered pole saw. This pole gets the job done with ease. I use it for about 15 minutes and the battery was still fully charged at the end. It does go through the chain lube quickly. In fact, the lube on my unit was splashing off the rotating chain, flying through the air and landing on the user.
