Chipolo Kickstarter's Version

I have 4 Chipolo kickstarter's version, received on July 2014 and it is still functioning well. 2 are to my keychain and keycar, the other 2 are for my wife. I misplaced my keychain several times and found it back again. Recently I ordered the new Chipolo One Spot, 4 items, pre-order, because it is compatible with Apple Find My, can't wait to replace the old one.

Works perfectly and no subscription

I have had many different kinds of Bluetooth tag and this is the only one that worked properly and did everything I needed. Long battery life. No switching ON/OFF - it's always ON. Can turn the "left my item" alarm on and off as required - I leave it on all the time. It never gives a false alarm. It always notifies me if I leave my item behind (but requires a fair distance before that happens). Doesn't alarm on the actual item I've left behind unless I tell it to - important in my opinion because someone might realise you've left it behind and make off with it. It was more expensive than its predecessors but you get what you pay for and this one is really good. Its nearest big name competitor (that I had before this one) requires a subscription to give you an alert that you've left your item behind - this one does not. As well as the walk away alert, you can ring your phone from the Chipolo, ring the Chipolo from your phone, or ask your voice assistant (Alexa in my case) to ring the Chipolo - but I've not tried that.
