I haven't used these particular chipolos yet but I have been using chipolos for many years now to locate my cats.
They do an excellent job at connecting with the app in most situations if the cats are close enough (20-40 meters) and there are no major obstacles (thick stone walls or large metal objects).
The loud sound is also a really important feature.
I do wish I could buy an assortment of colours of my choosing instead of having to go for the pre-defined combinations.

okay ...often looses connection ... lots of alerts as walk around the house / garden, so you switch off alerts. You need to think about your exact need.

I like that I can use these to take photos! I can also call my own phone using the double click sound feature. I wish the spots had this feature.

I tried some similar products from Tile, Samsung SmartTag, etc. And I have to admit that Chipolo is by far the best of them. The product works like a charm, and they have also released a new app for Android / iOS that is outstanding. I recommend this product to anyone looking for quality.

Only 80% reliable

1) Detection only works on the same floor of my house. I expected greater coverage. 2) Takes several minutes to re-connect to the Chipolo. Tooks much too long. 3) If you leave without your keys it takes more than 5 minutes to alert me over my mobile phone. This is too long.

Compared to Tile I really like the software interface and not all the upsells Tile has in their app. The Chipolos are are really cute too. But one of my Chipolos was DOA, but got replaced. A second Chipolo stopped working soon afterwards. My search for a bluetooth tracker for my camera bags and keys will have to continue.
