Replaced my faithful 945.Easy to adjust to new buttons,like the lighter weight and the softer strap.Easy to switch between data screens. Even with my aging eyesight can read most items well.

I am able to track myself on so many different platform of exercise. I can track the runs, bikes and swim without over thinking. The suggested recovery workouts are a great feature.
The device is easy to navigate. It allows me to customizes the face to my needs. I can rearrange the widgets to help with training purposes. This has been the best investment in my fitness so far.

Great watch for olympic and IM 70.3 triathlons

I upgraded from a Forerunner 910XT which I kept for about 10 years. The 745 provides many cool features and data points. It take a bit of time to get used to the menu navigation but there are some good videos out there and I could customize the data displays for each sport. I also have the heart-rate monitor PRO so it provides more insights on my swimming. I used to need a computer to upload my data but now it all goes quickly via wifi and phone. The battery life is good. I almost forget to recharge the watch because it lasts so long.

Great sport watch overall with no Chinese support

I have got Garmin Forerunner 745 for less than a month now and I have loved it so much because of it's good quality, high accuracy and resistance. All these functions to keep tracking of your body, monitoring feature are best of the best. The only thing I have to complain about is about Chinese language support for notification message. I am living in US but I have connections with people in my hometown and receive message in Chinese on daily basis. I did lots of research and found that the watch sold in US doesn't support Chinese language by design while having Chinese version of Garmin Connect in mobile. Would you please consider the requirements of customers like me

I bought it for running and cycling. It works great for both. The battery could last longer but it takes like 15 min to charge.

I upgraded from a 735XT to the 745, and I really love my new watch. Switching between types of workouts is much easier, and uploading to Garmin Connect is quicker. And if you love having more data, this watch will definitely scratch that itch.
