poor quailty filter latches

They hood works well ,but the latches on the mesh filters are poor quality. I just had to order 2 filters (50200030
Aluminum Mesh Filter Because the latches are broken. They have not been abused, they just broke when trying to remove them. The model I have is zpy-e30as Pyramid We have had this model for about 7 years .It has worked well .
