[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this laptop very much. I was going to buy Thinkpad T14 Gen 2 but settled on this one instead, as the air vents are on the right hand side in Thinkpad T14 Gen 2 potentially blowing hot air into the hand (I use external mouse). Thinkpad E14 Gen 3 has the vents on the back side. Also, the keyboard quality was an important factor for me. And this one has a great keyboard with 1.8mm key travel. And the noise level is low. Overall, I got a great configuration, great keyboard, and a good laptop for a lower price compared to T14 which has the issue I mentioned above.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great battery life with good performance on games even with integrated graphics. Easy updates with the Lenovo preinstalled app. Backlighting on the keyboard is nice.
The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 is an office laptop, which is not as slim as the devices from the X-series and there are not as many features as on the T-series, but the laptops often cost only half the price and they offer all the important things you need to work. Lenovo also fixes one major complaint and equips the new ThinkPad E14 G3 with brighter displays and there is also an optional screen with 100% sRGB coverage.
You also get brand-new Ryzen 5000 mobile processors from AMD, which promise a decent performance boost. We review the model 20Y7003SGE with the Ryzen 5 5500U, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB PCIe-SSD storage, and the 1080p screen with a brightness of 300 nits for 870 Euros. The price drops to 790 Euros when you have access to Lenovo’s Campus program or even 640 Euros when you do not need the Windows operating system.
