Clear Picture and Easy Set Up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the picture quality of this monitor. I can see my baby clearly and it has a wide angle so I can see almost his entire room at once. It also displays the room temperature which I find helpful! The set up was very easy and the instructions were easy to understand. one of the downsides to this monitor is the touchscreen feature. I personally do not like that it's touchscreen. It's a bit difficult to maneuver when moving the camera to face a different direction. Additionally, I sometimes carry the monitor in my hand with other things and since it's touchscreen, I accidentally move the camera while doing so. I would have preferred buttons. Lastly, this monitor has a feature to play music through the camera. I was disappointed that there was no shushing sound as that's the only sound that soothes my baby and it would be nice to have an all in one, instead of also needing a sound machine. Perhaps on the next rendition the shushing sound could be included. Overall, I'm impressed with the quality of picture and sound and would highly recommend this to any of my friends and family with young children!

I have used the Nanit Pro for my daughter's whole life, so that's what I have to compare it to. The good: I had no issues at all with the WiFi connectivity. The camera has a clear picture both in daylight and in the dark. My phone can reliably connect, as can the handheld monitor. The Nanit does not come with a standalone monitor, and I love that this one does - great for when I have a babysitter or if I need to use my phone, or if we are using it when we don't have WiFi -- like when traveling and I don't want to set it up, or where the camera location can't get a strong enough signal. The pan and zoom are really cool, and the option to mount it on the ceiling is something I haven't seen elsewhere. This seems like a good camera to use into toddlerhood. The monitor seems to hold a charge for a while. The temperature sensor seems to be accurate. The app does not require a subscription to use any of the features, which is a huge benefit. The less good: I can't find any mention of the encryption, and security is extremely important to me. The Motorola Nursery app is a little unreliable -- sometimes it doesn't open, sometimes the pan/zoom feature does not work. It's not the clearest app to use in terms of getting it to do what you want. When it does work, it's great, and has a lot of good features -- but that's an if. It works more often than not, I'd say, but that's still iffy. It does not have a humidity sensor. Some of the features, like the sounds and flashlight, are not accessible from the app (only from the monitor). It does not automatically track any data with regard to sleep. Overall, this is a good monitor for the price. Getting a handheld monitor and wifi access is pretty great, and the zoom and pan are features I haven't ever had on a baby monitor. Really cool. I do have some concerns about security even though those issues are uncommon/unlikely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like Motorola VM36XL touch connect. Everything works exactly the way I hoped it would. It is great that I can see my kid in the room. The monitor is super great. It is able to be moved around so I can get the angle I want. The image quality on the monitors is great and I can adjust the sound how I ever loud I want. This is perfect to setup for my kid room. Thank you so much for letting our family we have chance to use this incredible monitor system. We love it.

Awesome monitor system

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lifesaver! I love this monitor. I can easily see the baby anytime he is in his room. Plays lullabies and this allows me to talk to the baby thru the device while in another room. Also sometimes we use this to watch the kids while we are out in the garage or over at the neighbors. The app is cool and really helpful, I appreciate the live stream feature. I also appreciate the alerts. Battery life is terrific. Panning options complete with tilt and zoom allow you to monitor the entire room via the Motorola Nursery app.When there is a clear line of sight between parent and baby units. Any obstruction between parent and baby units will reduce the range significantly. With parent and baby units indoors,the typical range is up to 165 feet (50m).

A Feature-Rich Baby Monitor with Some Connectivity Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Motorola VM36XL Touch Connect is a feature-packed baby monitor that offers a clear view of my little one, day or night. The 5-inch touchscreen display, remote pan-tilt-zoom camera, and two-way talk capabilities do provide peace of mind for my husband and me. My little one loves the pre-recorded songs and book readings the device offers. However, some connectivity issues and a less-than-intuitive user interface hold it back from being a truly exceptional product. At times the 5-inch touch screen will disconnect and a very loud sound will omit from the system to advise the disconnect. The loud sound would occur at 10:00 p.m. and occurred a handful of times within a week. Pros: Clear 720p video quality with infrared night vision Remote pan, tilt, and zoom camera for a complete view of the nursery Two-way talk to soothe your baby from afar Room temperature monitoring to ensure your baby's comfort Preloaded nature sounds, lullabies, and audiobooks to help your baby sleep Works with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control Cons: Occasional connectivity issues, especially when using the app The touchscreen can be a bit sensitive and may lead to accidental camera movements The user interface could be more intuitive and user-friendly

Great baby monitors, app needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this new Motorola baby monitor for a few weeks and in love with it. The baby monitor system is easy to set up and very easy to use. I like the big clear touchscreen and the way you can talk to your baby from the monitor. I'm also impressed with the picture quality of this monitor, even during night time I can see my baby clearly. The sound quality is great as I can hear my baby with no issues. The app is a bit delayed. Overall it's a great product and I'd recommend it to my friends.

I live not having to rely on space on my phone to have another app or my phone having enough charge, etc. to view my baby.The picture resolution is amazing.Sound quality is great. And it has a two way microphone.Battery life is good and it holds a charge.
