Quality Hi-Def, Multi camera/split screen monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] (We got this product free in return for a review) With a new house and 3rd baby on the way, we needed to upgrade our previous monitor situation. We love the quality of the multiple cameras (have 2 with option up to 4!) and split screen image! We previously had the ability to pan our camera and were excited to find this one could pan around the room as well- to keep an eye on more than one kiddo in one room if needed! The monitor range has worked throughout the house as well as outside on the back deck which is nice not to be limited at nap/bedtime. One thing we are getting used to is the bigger handheld monitor- we don't think it is too big, we are just more familiar with a small one. There are a lot more features you can toggle through that we haven't really even utilized yet!

Good camera for price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Motorola sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program. I currently use the Nanit to monitor my two children. When the WiFi goes out, I have trouble monitoring the kids. The VM75-2 is great because it does not use WiFi and you can monitor two cameras at once. I've been currently using this in our play room and love that the camera base is motorized so I can use the control button to move it myself. It makes it so much easier to monitor him in a big room or if you're setting up the camera somewhere outside of home. I also appreciate that the room temperature is shown on the camera. Installation was also a breeze. The cons: the picture is not as great as my Nanit. The control buttons on the monitor can also be a little confusing. This is a good option for a baby monitor, especially considering the price.

Great quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great monitor. Love having two cameras - it's easy to use with just one or two. The picture quality is great. I like that the monitor and cameras are slim because we like to use this for traveling as well. And I like that wi-fi is not a factor.

Work as described. Awesome for multiple children

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Placed cameras is the areas the kiddos nap / sleep the most. Was able to successfully take a night time dip in the pool with my wifey and still keep tabs on the sleeping littles. Picture isn't the greatest during night vision but your still able to make out and see what's happening. I would have given 5* if the speaker was just a little louder. Other than that I would purchase the set for any new parents and seasoned ones that need an update monitor.

A solid baby monitor system

I had been needing a second baby camera system for when my family travels. This Motorola really fits that bill! I love how simple it is to setup, literally plug in the camera and monitor and it's done. I will not use a WiFi system, so I appreciated I didn't have to with this setup. I loved being able to split screen on the monitor to see both of my kids at once. However, I found it cumbersome to try and adjust camera angles in this mode. I also found myself fumbling trying to adjust the volume on the monitor. I kept wishing there were dedicated volume only buttons on the top of the monitor. I'm sure I could get used to that with time. This system is very lightweight, which can be a benefit or feel a little cheap. I appreciate it as I was using this as a travel option and it's so easy to pack up and setup. You can also use any of the charging cables for the camera or monitor, which helps with packing and setting up. Overall, it's a good, solid option. Not my favorite system I've ever tried, but I'm pleased to have it as my back up/travel system!

Love that I can watch both simultaneously!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I had my second child the monitors I had didn't provide an option to watch both cameras simultaneously and I would have to flip back and forth between them, it always made me so anxious! I'm so glad we have this now and I can watch both children at the same time without any issues. The clarity of the camera and the sound is excellent, I am very pleased

This is the best monitor I have found in 24 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can not say enough good things about this monitor. I have been momming for 24 years, grandmaing for almost 3 and this is the BEST monitor I have come across. This monitor was sent to me for free, for my honest review but that fact does not sway my review in any way. My 3 year old grandson is very mischievous, I used to leave my upstairs bedroom several times a night to check on him, never got any sleep. This monitor has been a lifesaver, I am able to clearly see him in his dark room and when he starts climbing out of his crib, I simply push the microphone button and tell him to lay back down! I don't even have to leave my bed and I'm left giggling as he tries to figure out how I saw him. Through the mom set, I can move the camera in his room up,down,left or right with the directional arrows- to make sure I can see him even when he moves to the end of the bed. The fact that this monitor has 2 cameras is even better, as I have 3 grandchildren. When the newborn is asleep in the other room I can easily switch cameras to check on him, or have split screen to see both cameras at the same time! I can even play music for my newborn with the push of a button. In the morning, when I wake before they do, I can unplug the mom handset and bring it downstairs it will hold it's charge for hours till they wake up. This was super easy to set up, you literally plug it in and turn it on, that's it! No connecting to Bluetooth or wifi or worrying about your internet going out in the middle of the night. I would recommend this to any and everyone. I plan to buy another one for my daughters house!

Here's my experience: Pros:The design is sleek, and the cameras look great in any room.The monitor has impressive battery life.The price is reasonable for the features offered. Cons:Both cameras remained in night mode during the day, often flickering but mostly staying in black and white.The resolution is not as good as other monitors I've used.The monitor functions are not intuitive, requiring multiple button presses for simple tasks.It doesn't connect to Wi-Fi, so you can't watch the cameras without the monitor. In summary, while the aesthetics and battery life are appealing, the usability and camera performance need improvement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
