[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby monitor has some pretty nice features - but some downsides as well. I had a different monitor with my first child, but it was wi fi only, so I was always having to try to find ways to actually see the baby (cell phone, tablet, etc). I missed having a traditional handheld unit. This particular product solves this issue, since it both comes with a parent unit and has the ability to see baby through an app. The parent unit works great. It connects through wi fi, so range is not an issue. You can keep it stationary connected to the wall, or use it around the house (in this case, the battery claims to last around 5 hours - I didn't try to use for that long yet, I always return it to the power when not in use). The small duration of the battery is not an issue since during the night you can just keep it connected to the wall - and you also get the plus that it will be fully charged in the morning for on the go use. The camera itself is okay. I love the magnetic stand, you can use it as a tabletop stand or attach it to the wall. I like that it's the same stand for both purposes, so you don't have a ton of pieces to figure out. And the magnetic connection allows you to tilt the camera to the desired position on the stand, so it can have the perfect angle to see baby (if it is standing on a surface, it will need a different inclination compared to a monitor on the wall). The only issue is that sometimes the camera has a bright blue light, which might be a problem for a sleeping baby. For now it's placed on a table next the bassinet, but this might be a problem when we put baby in his crib and the camera on the wall next to it. The app could be better. It works. Well, most of the time (sometimes all I got was a blank screen). And you can see baby through wi fi. But it also has a not so friendly interface. It's not very intuitive, hard to figure out how to edit data on the settings, and it has a couple of cool features (temperature, for instance), and a few extras that aren't really necessary and just only take space from the screen (like a diaper and feeding log - chances are, you probably already have an app for that, and any dedicated app will be way better than this). One cool feature is the ability to leave the audio on the background, which means you can leave the app and continue using your phone for other purposes while still listening to baby. You won't be seeing baby, but you will definitely be hearing when they cry. I just wish this feature could be turned on or off from the home screen, instead of being hidden on the settings. Overall, this is a nice baby monitor, with a decent price point, and it should work okay for my needs. I wanted wi fi (so there's no out of range issues), but also I wanted a parent unit (with a dedicated device to see baby during the day), so this product gives me that, which is exactly what I wanted. The app is an extra, and still needs some improvement.

This monitor provides an incredibly sharp picture on both the app and the screen. The features and functions of the monitor are really useful, and I love the ability to record the video footage, as well as record my own personal messages to play back to our baby. The quality is incredibly sharp, even while my baby is sleeping in a room with black out sheets, and the reception from the monitor, as well as the battery life are really top notch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this monitor. The camera is really sturdy and well made, similar to my Arlo cameras. I like the app and that my husband and I can both log in. You can also log feedings and sleep on it as well and save photos from the camera. The screen is big and has a camera movement option. It does connect to wifi and a few cons are: sometimes it lags, the screen goes to sleep and sometimes doesn't light up when there's movement, the night vision is a little blurry, and the app is kind of dated. But overall we really like it
