Really great for ingrown toenails

Although this file looks like it will be thin enough to get between a toenail and the skin to reach to file down an ingrown toenail; it is actually too thick. It needs to be more narrow in thickness.

The tool is too thick and round to get to the part of the mail that needs to be filed. Honestly not sure how anyone uses this. I debated trying to return it but I don’t feel it’s right to return a product like this after I tried to use it. I also tried to file a normal part of a nail to see how well it’s would file. It doesn’t do anything. I’ve had ingrown toenails my whole life. This is the most useless product I’ve bought.

This tool has saved my toes!

I’ve owned this for years and, for me, it works !! It is engineered just right for me to get it underneath a painful ingrown bail, light it and take care of it. Well made, it has lasted for years. And for me it seems better designed and better made than similar tools by other manufacturers. Ingrown bails are a drag but this has helped me manage them excellently . My podiatrist is happy with it!

Not exactly helpful in my case

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's extremely well-made and sturdy, kinda easy to reach the corners. However, I've got mild in-grow nails on both my big toes and this tool doesn't seem to accomplish the job quite well as-claimed. On youtube you can watch loads of videos about how professionals deal with problems but the filing off was never a perfect solution to get rid of the pointy corner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
