[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a few years since my last laptop purchase and I'm always amazed with the advancement of technology. I like the ability to fold keyboard under so I'm working in tablet mode with touch screen. My wife and I each have our finger prints setup for authentication which works great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was debating between the X1 Yoga and the Yoga 9i. Pretty similar specs. X1 has more ports. I also bought the 9i for comparison. Ultimately it came down to the display for me. I thought I would like the 9i's glossy display better, and the anti-glare privacy guard of the X1 took some time to get used to. But after a side-by-side comparison, I thought the X1 display looked slightly better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Some issues with this laptop that Lenovo needs to sort out. 1. HDMI 2.0 port to a 4K Monitor freezes Windows at 60Hz. 30Hz works fine. 2. Laptop randomly shuts off display every 30 seconds or so even though Power setting is "Never" for Display turn off. 3. Fans run majority of the time, even on balanced power mode.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Yoga after retiring my Yoga 14 after about 8 years of service. I love the new found speed and the familiar set up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it less than a month ago and the battery isn’t impressive at all. It last about 5hours averagely
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 Yoga maintains the quality and fantastic Trackpoint that I expect from a Thinkpad. It feels like it will easily last me through college and has a comfortable keyboard. It would be nice to have an ethernet port and an sd card reader built in, but these are minor issues.
