Week 1 with this 2-in-1. The power button does not work. Once it goes to sleep or I power it off, the only way to get it going again is to do a hard reboot by pushing the little button in the back with a paper clip.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After having used a non-Windows laptop as an undergrad and for personal use several years after graduating from college, I needed to upgrade my dinosaur of a computer before heading off to graduate school (MBA). Given that I am going into finance, that right there meant Windows because Excel on Windows OS is better than on other OS's.
Upon considering all the high-end, Windows laptops suitable for business/finance, there was only one clear winner in terms of overall functionality: the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 6. You get the main advantages of the X1 Carbon, but also the flexibility of a 2-1 which comes in useful during MBA lectures in which some professors do not permit laptops but do allow for notetaking on 'tablets.'
Lastly, this machine is built SOLID. Great build quality on par with other high-end, Windows and non-Windows computers. The finish and casing, keyboard, trackpad, matte screen, and hinge mechanism are all 10/10. My only complaint is that in the year 2021, I would expect a premium laptop such as this one to come with a built-in 1080p camera, not a 720p camera equal in quality to my old laptop from 2012! Other than that nitpick, you cannot go wrong with this computer for business or even personal use.
