[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a fantastic performing laptop. Very snappy, stunning 4K display, great assortment of ports in the right places, and perfect for my day-to-day tasks. Also, it passes the one hand open lid lift test and has minimal flex in the housing. Also it's not the classic black like the X1 Carbon lineup, the gray aluminum unibody has my respect.
For improvements in Gen 7, I'd like to see an increased battery life (for the 4K variant specifically), discrete graphics, separate buttons for left/right mouse clicking, and a bit lighter. It's a tall order, but one can wish.

What you see is what you get, except for battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The overall quality of the laptop was very good, except for the battery life. When you unplug the battery, it says ~10 hours remaining, but dies after four. So it's about as good as the battery on my five-year old Lenovo Yoga laptop after five years of continuous use. Other than that, all the other features that I've tested have worked as expected and you can easily plug in two monitors at the same time and use it as a work + personal laptop, which was my use scenario.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving this little portable worksation. Strong, resilient and versatile. I can do image editing, 3D and even some gaming (with reasonable settings).
My only downside is with the Lenovo Vantage soft, which has been a recurring issue with older Lenovo laptops across the years... Now, for whatever reason after an update, the mic button (on and off) doesn't work... And the only solution is to deactivate the mic via software settings...
On my previous P40 Yoga, it was the illuminated keyboard that I could not make it turned on by default...
I definitely recommend the hardware, but I'd say to lenovo to stop bundling software that just create unnecessary conflicts with windows...
