[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptop is excellent combination of performance, features and beautiful design. My main purpose for this laptop is for school and personal use. I wish my company would allow the purchase of Lenovo X1 Yoga's cause this would be the perfect work laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very impressive unit. Pros: light, quiet, nice touchscreen, Intel 11th gen performance, ports. Cons: perf stutters for a few seconds occasionally (appears to be a BIOS issue), keyboard a little glitchy (misses Shift key sometimes; doesn't remember backlight setting after screen lock).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far seems like a very good laptop. Uploaded windows 11 quickly. I like the screen dimensions vs my previous 14inch laptop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Build quality is good as always. Ordered XUbuntu but booted into Gnome. Only evidence of XFCE was the x in xubuntu on the splash screen. Not that big a deal but still. I made the mistake of installing KDE desktop since there is one program I use for work that runs better there. KDE seized control of the system and refused to allow boot into anything else. Desktop manager completely bypassed. The only rescue image Canonical offers is Gnome Ubuntu. So at this point, as far as I can tell, xubuntu on Thinkpad does not exist. This is not my first rodeo. I've had a Linux desktop for years and have used Fedora, Red Hat enterprise, Scientific Linux, Mint, Ubuntu (with a pause when they lost their minds with Unity), and Slackware in the distant past. It has been a while since I've used KDE but they appear to have hired a lot of the devs that wrecked Gnome.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best laptop I ever had. Display is awesome. Battery timing is amazing. Performance is exceptionally good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my laptop so far. It's been over a week that I have it and I love the new design and the features that are added to this model. Previously, I had a Lenovo laptop for around 3 years for my work and this is the first time I have it for personal use. It is very light compare to my other laptops (both work which is an hp one and personal which was a Samsung Chrmebook). It is also very quiet and does not get hot underneath s I can put it on my lap and work. Highly recommended!
