[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great computer, love the point stick mouse since I'm not used to touchpads always having used a wireless mouse. The screen is beautiful, CPU is fast especially w/32GB of ram

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put "hidden" in the title since this shows up in the Thinkpad line of devices instead of the rest of the Yoga devices. If I could I would give this PC a 4.5. It isn't perfect but it is pretty close. The performance is pretty good. I got the 16 GB RAM version and if it hadn't been for the 4 month+ delay to get the 32 GB version I would have gotten it. I am doing Lightroom CC and Photoshop editing on it so I went with the high resolution touch screen model. This works really well for my needs. The display looks good. The keyboard is typical of a Thinkpad and is great. I like the extra USB A port and HDMI port that aren't present in the consumer Yoga line. The few list of improvements I would add for the Gen 7 would be the following. Switch to a carbon shell instead of aluminum. It would be lighter and dissipate heat better. When I play a game or am doing work in photoshop it gets pretty hot. the 2 USB C ports are on the same side of the laptop (left). I would put one on each side so that you could charge from either side to add flexibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am reviewing the Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 2 Gen 6.
In general, I love Lenovo Yoga Thinkpads because they have enough power for limited CAD work and the touchscreen allows me to sign docs from the screen, saving a lot of time. The touchscreen also allows me to rotate CAD models, which is helpful.
While the Intel Iris Xe graphics are much better than 3rd generation, the graphics chip is still quite weak in comparison to competing devices.
Also, I was discouraged by darker, poor screen colors than in prior generations. My gen 3 had a brilliant OLED screen that gives vivid colors, especially reds. The gen 6 screen is drab in comparison, which was a significant disappointment.
Lastly, the laptop size has shrunk to 14" from 15.5", which was disappointing. Smaller bezel, but I miss the larger screen.
Lastly, there is some weird stuff on pricing and configuration. In general, I prefer to build my own system from options but this year the Lenovo website offers none. Further, the model I want is some days around $2400 and other days around $1400. Either the website is buggy or Lenovo is playing games with pricing--not sure which. I ended up buying online from New Egg because prices were low and were the same from day to day.
Very solid performer, but I sure wish the screen was prettier. Not great for movies.
