The laptop performs well however, the video quality is absolutely horrible. Far less expensive laptops have significantly better camera/video quatliy. As a result, I had to purchase a supplemental camera just to use Teams or Zoom.
At first, Lenovo support thought it was a faulty camera since they agreed the quality was so poor however, even after replacing the camera (on a 3-week old laptop), there's no difference, whatsoever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new Lenovo Thinkpad L15. It was easy to set up and it is very comfortable, fast and intelligent. Just what today’s apps need running in the background. I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long term IBM then Lenovo Laptop user. Because of big hands I turn off the trackpad and use only the track pointer or a mouse(which is not always handy to use outside an office setting) This L15 has an issue where the Track Pointer locks up the computer until you hook a mose up and restart the computer. I have done all online patchs and upgrade recommended and now have to take time during my busy season to let warranty address this. Other than that, this is a 5 start machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I already use ThinkPads through work, and we wanted something similar for home. We're very pleased with this model - it was easy to set up and does everything we need and more. Good product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great computer for the price and outfitted well. Not to mention how quick it was delivered to me after the order as made.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great sleek laptop. Keypad is great to have and finger print lock makes it easy to log in within seconds
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally this is a solid machine. It has been reliable, with no unexpected shutdowns or errors as far as I can detect a month into owning it. I would have preferred a larger SSD and higher RAM option, but for the price this was okay (there was no option for more than 16GB RAM). It has a good balance between specs and portability. I really like that the keyboard incorporates a good sized numerical keypad in the 15" form factor wherein the entire keyboard uses the available space well. A few minor annoyances: 1. screen - could have a bit more maximum brightness. Also the bezel is rather large by today's standards. It could probably get up another inch in screen real-estate in the given form factor with a thinner bezel. 2. The Fn and Ctrl keys on the left are switched from regular keyboards. This is quite annoying from a productivity standpoint. I understand there is a way to switch this in software but it's weird that other Lenovo laptops have the normal orientation and I'd like the physical hard keys to correspond. 3. For some reason by default the F-keys trigger the hardware features of the laptop (like screen brightness and volume, etc.). This becomes a bit annoying in spreadsheets when I am used to pressing F4 - now I have to press Fn+F4. There's probably a software setting to change this but I haven't gotten around to looking it up. As I said, just minor annoyances. Overall it is a good machine so far - about a month in. [For reference, I had to return a different laptop to a different manufacturer prior to owning this one because it kept shutting down randomly (hardware issues). This was such a bad experience - so maybe my standards are a bit lower. But I can say I am just very happy to finally have a reliable work machine again.]
