Very good, but could have been a little bit better

Good points:
1) It's the fastest, most dependable computer I've ever owned, thanks to the Core i7 processor, the 1TB solid state hard drive, and the 16GB RAM.
2) Sharp, crisp screen display, whether viewing text, Web pages, photos or videos.
3) Just the right size: both comfortable for in-home use and easy to scoop up and take on the road.
Not-so-good points:
1) The audio usually isn't loud enough for me, even at 100% volume. I have to plug in a portable speaker/amplifier set to get the volume I want.
2) I really wish this laptop came with a separate numeric keypad - I think there would have been room to squeeze it in below the keyboard on the right-hand side, where the "Thinkpad" logo is located.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been years since I have used anything but a Mac Pro, but I recently spilled coffee on it and had to go looking for a new computer. I decided on the ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 Intel and couldn't be happier. It is easy to use and has made the transition back to Microsoft products easier than I thought!! Highly recommend it.

great, except for red tracking pointer locking up

red tracking pointer does lock up sometimes. No one seems to know why. I must reboot the L14 to get it to clear.
