Great laptop

first, i'll start by saying, i'm coming from a samsung notebook flash i bought two years ago. i bought it for school and it's worked well for basic tasks. i decided to upgrade to something more powerful and modern. enter the galaxy book pro! i bought the 13.3" blue model with 8gb ram and 256gb ssd. i'm loving it so far! it's so much faster than my pentium n5000 powered notebook flash. the fingerprint scanner is super fast and reliable (which wasn't the case with the flash). i'm also digging the ultra light weight and thinness. i would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a new laptop (samsung fan or not). the only small gripe i have with the device is that it's a fingerprint magnet. but, there aren't many smooth finishes that won't show finger prints.

Perfect laptop for absolutely everything!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with this Galaxy Book Pro! The Mystic Blue color is absolutely beautiful. The laptop comes with the instruction book and USB-C charger. The cord is longer than your average cord which is perfect if you need a little extra length. The Galaxy Book pro AMOLED screen is amazing! You can say goodbye to dim screens and squinting to see what you’re reading. The trackpad is larger than you’re average laptop and the response time it literally instant. There is no lag whatsoever. The load times for any application is pretty much instantaneous due the the 6gb RAM and i7 processor. It has a 512gb SSD and even has a SD slot! The sound is super load and crisp even without earbuds. The Dolby Atmos in the little powerhouse is awesome. It weights less than 3 lbs which is perfect for keeping your bag lightweight! It lasts for 22 hours on a single charge. I absolutely love this laptop and highly recommend!

Lightweight and Quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a lightweight quick laptop for basic tasks this seems like a good option. The Galaxy Book Pro is light almost to the point of feeling flimsy (one negative about it). Comes equipped with the latest Windows OS and was simple to set up and get started. Compared to my couple year old laptop it is very fast both starting, running programs, and shutting down. I am not a gamer so cannot speak to its speed running games or other programs that take a lot of power. Very simple port setup. No CD player or VGA but has HDMI and USB hookups which is all most need. One complaint I have is that within the first few hours of using it the screen fuzzed out and stopped working. I let the computer sit for a while then recharged it fully and the screen worked again after. Not real happy with that and will update this review for sure if the problem continues as a laptop without a good screen is worthless.

Great laptop - Wrong information in "specs".

the only reason why i only give 3 stars is the following:
if you go to the specs information, under "display", you will see a "yes" next to "touchscreen". this is actually one of the reasons i bought this one, i wanted a touchscreen laptop without it being a "360" one. but now after a few days of having it, i realized it is not touchscreen.
you guys should check the website and change that information as it is inaccurate.
also, i contacted a representative through the app to ask for this and make sure i didn't have the touchscreen option disabled; it's been more than an hour, and instead of assuming that this is a mistake, he/she would just make me wait forever.
the only reason why i only give 3 stars is the following:

Not better than the Flex

i purchase the galaxy book pro 360 15.6 in.. the look of the device is great sadly it did not live up to the hype that the unpacked event describe it to be. the camera it is very similar to the one on a galaxy book flex. the speakers are not loud,lack bass. lastly, the fans frequently turn up the volume even when it was not in use. as for the software, the only upgrades to the 360 pro from the flex are the quick sharing option and smartthings. i'd rather have a little bit of a thicker computer with all the bells and whistles than one watered-down version of the previous model

I am in love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] …with this laptop. I was a bit nervous on grabbing it because well..Samsung and I don’t have great history and I was worried even with running Windows 10 it would be more Android like but it’s not. It’s an amazing laptop and has done everything I’ve needed it to do. I’ve typed a mock essay, played a few basic games (nothing gamer related), listened to music and watched a movie and it’s passed all that. The only downside I’ve seen is no CDROM drive but those are becoming phased out so cannot blame Samsung for that
