Great quality and playable set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great building set that is playable once built. There are 2 different books with instructions. The smaller book goes with bag 1 (all the pieces are clearly labeled in bags). I was impressed with the organization of the pieces and instructions. I have a 5, 9, and 12 year old. The 12 year old was able to easily build the entire set alone. My 9 year old was able to build most of it alone. My 5 year old needed some assistance throughout the entire build. All of my kids boys&girls loved this set. They loved how solid the vehicles were once built. They thought it was fun taking the 2 included figures in and out of the vehicles. My 12 year old loved the small details.. such as little storage areas for accessories and rubber wheels. This is a great set! If you have a hotwheel fan then its a double bonus.

Great Hot Wheels Addition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I opened this with my 8 year old and we were both impressed with the number of pieces. She was very excited to start building and chose to begin with the car. I was only there for support when she found the directions confusing. I only had to help once when she used the wrong size piece earlier and then thought she was missing a piece. She put all 3 pieces together over three days. It took longer than I thought it would but I was impressed with her determination to do it on her own.

Really fun for all our children. the pieces are quite stable and fit together nicely. My only complain is the back ramp arrived with a small piece broken off. I would definitely get this again.

Fun to build, just take your time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The car was fun to build, however the hauler was difficult and my son gave up after 20 minutes. I helped him build it however ultimately he played with the sports car more than the hauler in fear that it would have to be rebuilt.

Hot Wheels branches out into building fun!

My 8 year old built this set without any assistance and enjoyed playing with both the vehicle and the hauler afterwards! The drivers were also a fun addition, along with their tools! This is a fun and sturdy set that is also a great value!

Best toy for a boy!

With this toy it was different not only did it catch his attention he also loved it because it reminded him of his daddy! My husband is a truck driver hence my son loved the toy. Some parts are small but under supervision I let my son play. It is a great toy that teaches kids mental construction.

Great toy for kids that love vehicles and building

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My children were so excited to build this together! This was our first experience with a building block style vehicle. Upon first glance, I thought the vehicles were going to be stationary so the movable wheels made the toy extra fun for the kids after they finished building. The roofs come off as well to allow the two drivers to be inserted into the vehicles and the trailer also has moving parts, as well as a complete tool set! I really like the multiple stages this toy has. Building and play, all in one! Excellent!

Fun Set to Build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first Hot Wheels Mega Contrux. It's cool that there's 2 things to build in one set and ultimately, it's one fun toy. My 6 year old was able to build the car on his own. He was fully immersed building it. I think the smaller pieces are not as durable and can easily break even if you are careful. Having a lot of pieces in the set is fun, but the smaller pieces that really add to the detail of the car are delicate. The truck with trailer is a bit more difficult to build and may require adult help. Overall, it's a cool set. If your child likes to build things, then this will definitely keep them entertained.
