falls apart fast

I have been using this with my Xbox for a year ant its not great. First of all, using it with just the 3.5 plug in reduces sound quality by a lot, but that's to be expected. My real problem is with how fast the cloth fell apart. after only a few months the glue connecting the cushions to the metal gave way, and ive been having issues ever since. now, after just 1 year, the right headphone does not work, and the cord is not in good shape.
