[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I purchased this headphone, it was a great price. The quality of sound is awesome. It offers two ways to use the headphone set. One way is just with the 3.5mm plug which fits well inside the headphone jack on the Legion 5. The other way is through the usb port with the attached 7.1 Surround sound setting with an awesome equalizer. The sound gives the best surround sound in a headphone, with accurate soundscapes and clear directional sound through the headphones. The built in mic retracts into the left headphone and pulls out nicely for talking to other gamers online. I highly recommend this headphone set with the LEGION MONIKER. You won't be disappointed with it's performance.

falls apart fast

I have been using this with my Xbox for a year ant its not great. First of all, using it with just the 3.5 plug in reduces sound quality by a lot, but that's to be expected. My real problem is with how fast the cloth fell apart. after only a few months the glue connecting the cushions to the metal gave way, and ive been having issues ever since. now, after just 1 year, the right headphone does not work, and the cord is not in good shape.

It is supremely comfortable, blocks out noise great, the 7.1 surround is fantastic for music, enough bass to make it pop. Comfort: 5/5. Audio quality: 5/5. (Haven't used the microphone so I can't opine on that.)
Sadly, I do have to knock one star off for the braided cable. You can hear it all the time because it's rubbing on your shirt, the desk, itself, anything. Unfortunately you can't ignore it and it does affect what you're listening to. Man! That's the only thing bad I have to say about this headset.
