[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works as expected. 7.1 surround sounds really great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are great sounding and extremely comfortable. The microphone works well and doesn't pick up a lot of external noise.

7.1 Reasons I'll Never Take These Off

Let me start by saying this headset is a game changer literally. I put it on, fired up a game, and instantly knew where every footstep, rustle, and poorly timed reload was happening. I heard someone sneeze in game and instinctively said "Bless you." That’s how immersive it is.
The 7.1 surround sound is no joke. It’s so good that I once turned around in real life thinking someone was behind me… it was just a Skyrim guard. Again. Still better voice acting through these headphones, though.
Comfort wise? I wore them for a twenty five hour gaming session (don’t judge me, it was a raid) and forgot they were on until I stood up and yanked my drink off the desk with the cord. So yeah, very comfy, just beware of the leash.
Mic quality is solid. My friends can finally understand me instead of guessing whether I said "Go left" or "Go deaf." Noise isolation is great, too I missed the doorbell three times and now I have a package held hostage by UPS.
Build quality? Sleek and sturdy. It looks like it belongs on a spaceship or at least in a setup that includes RGB lighting and questionable life choices.
In conclusion: if you want great sound, solid mic clarity, and a headset that makes you feel like a tactical genius even if you’re just bad at the game this one's worth it. Bonus: you’ll finally hear what your graphics card has been crying about all these years.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great wired headset. Buying this headset was like the Goldie Locks choice - Design, Features, Performance, and Price. If you are looking for a headset for general use, including music, look no further. In particular, I bought it for the extendable mic which works extremely well on calls and online meetings. These are also very light and comfortable. Their both USB and audio jack connectable. The inline USB sound card with a couple of EQ choices and nice 7.1 sound worked out of the box. If you're looking for a headset with a great mic and a great price, this is it.
The soundstage is crisp, unlike the other reviewer (who might have been using a console, or the 3.5mm audio jack). The 7.1 is a gimmick and makes everything echoey, but with no EQ, default settings with the included USB connector, these headphones do the job. They're very comfortable, don't feel heavy on the head and fit quite well. The closed-back has some noise leakage, but the volume is very loud and crisp.
I can hear footsteps and directional audio with amazing clarity, No issues with differentiating from sound in front and behind me, I would recommend these to someone else if they get them on sale ($70~). At this budget, my local competition were the Kraken X and the HyperX Cloud Stinger ; For the price i paid, this one looked and felt better than the other 2 which were almost entirely plastic and felt like "budget" gaming headsets.
I would recommend this to a friend!
