I.wrote a review stating that this headset malfunctioned only after the number of days as the power button stopped working. This is true however after putting them on the charger again that evening and using them again the next day the power button once again working properly and has worked fine since as I have used them everyday. The only thing I still don't like is that these need to be powered on for any type of usage including wired to a phone or video game controller. The battery life so seems very good so far and if that ends up being the only issue I have with these headphones they will definitely be a good purchase especially at the great sale price. When I looked at prices of other Bluetooth headsets and saw how much A lot of them cost I realized what a great bargain these were for everything they could do and I definitely have to say the sound is nice. As mentioned before it does taking a little getting used to if you are used to something like hyperx headphones. After sitting and listening to my two pairs of hyperx headphones which are the alpha Cloud s and flights I have come to realize that they simply have a different sound signature. They are very heavy on the highs and bass but the middle disappears a little bit. The H3 hybrid is very full with it sound so it is taking me time to get used to that but also makes me realize things I wasn't hearing before when I was listening to music playing games or watching movies. Some might say the sound is flat. Connected to a PC however you can download the epos software which gives you the ability to change the sound profile to something more of your choosing. This setting does not stand the headset after you disconnect it from what I am hearing but connected to a PC it will allow you to change your sound profile so that seems to deal with that issue if you prefer different type of sound for different types of media. I have also just ordered a pair of hyperx orbit s headphones so I am very interested in hearing if they sound any different than these. I would definitely recommend these they come from a good heritage being that epos made the Sennheiser gaming headsets such as the game one. You can hear that when you listen to this headset. I also have to say the surround sound effect on these is very good without using the PC and app. Just straight through a video game console they have some of the best directional effects I have ever heard. Definitely worth the least purchase to decide as you can always return them and try something else if you don't like them but I would suggest at least taking them home for a while and testing them with different material. Build quality is generally plastic but it seems to be a very strong plastic and the headband is metal covered in a soft material. I have had a number of so-called expensive headsets with plastic headbands thought of always snapped either at the headset over time or where the headset joins the air cup. I only give these a good score for build as there are other headsets out there that would get one tick more than these for build quality that I have owned. But these are good and the headset is incredibly lightweight. Value is very good if you consider everything this headset can do compared to those in the same price range however I am scoring this at the sale price for value. At full price I don't know. I also have purchased the h6 pros and I'm waiting for them to arrive so it is hard for me to say at this point except that these give you a lot more options than the h6 which is at full price the same cost as these. My understanding from watching review videos is that these and the h6 may sound the same. If that is the case either these are worth it or both headsets are overpriced. I will find out when they arrive. For now for what I paid I will give them a five for value. Good luck in your search. There are so many choices out there and I think many companies such as epos sell too many slight variants of products at wildly different prices that is very confusing when they're only slight differences between one pair and the other. When I see h6 I assume that it should be a higher brand than h3 yet the h3 pro hybrid cost more than the h6. They should have had an h3 and an h3 hybrid pro. Then the h6 pro and the h6 hybrid pro and left it at that.
