I really like the Rocketbook Core notebooks. I got one of the first iterations of this notebook in 2018. After heavy use the pages finally started wearing out, so I got a replacement. I love that it saves me paper and that the notes are automatically converted to PDF and saved where I want them. I use my Rocketbook for both work and personal use. The only change I would wish for is numbered pages. My first Rocketbook had these but for some reason my new one does not. I found them useful to make sure I don't accidentally skip pages when scanning or cleaning. All in all, a great product that I highly recommend!

Not Lefty-Friendly

Overall, the notebook and technology serves its purpose. You write in the book, you scan the page, it's saved in the app. In essence, it does what it's intended to do. However, there are 2 issues that stand out to me.
The first is that this entire design was not created with Lefties in mind. The ink needs time to dry on the semi-gloss page, thus Lefties will likely smudge the ink as they write. I suppose there are so few of us, we weren't considered.
Second, the pen's eraser is inconveniently placed. When I write, I tend to place the pen-top on the back of the pen, so as not to lose it. Forgetting the eraser is not attached to the top, I've attempted to erase the page with the back of the pen... Scratching the page. Would it not be wiser to attach the eraser to the pen-top? Or to include a click-pen with an eraser attached?
The long-short of this review is, the Rocketbook is a great idea amongst many, but suffers from a few simple design flaws that weren't considered in production.

One notebook to rule them all!!

I purchased this product over 3 weeks ago, and with my disability note taking is essential for me. I used to have 2 to 3 different notebooks just for project notes, daily to-do lists, and other notes throughout the day. I work in IT and when an issue arises I write every detail to later transcribe in a runbook, but with rocketbook and the companion app, it transcribes my awful handwriting cutting out precious time that I need for other projects and so forth! If I were to keep using paper notebooks, I would be going through 4 to 5 pages daily, however with this, I am only using 1 page per day, and it holds up extremely well to constant erasing and cleaning!
Honestly, if you are a working professional with a mental disability (autism spectrum for me) it is a must-have, and less paper in the landfill!

I’ve only had this notebook for a couple of weeks but it’s been very useful in that time! I no longer have to carry around lots of heavy notebooks for various classes and all my sheets are scanned online so I can pull them up at any time. The only thing that I’ve disliked so far is, while filling up pages the ink may transfer even after drying. Other than that, I enjoy it!

Exactly what I need!

I received my Rocketbook as a gift and I love it! Typing on a device or writing on a tablet just doesn’t feel the same as writing on paper with a pen. I wanted to be able to do that without wasting paper and without needing to transcribe everything manually into my computer. This does just that! So when I feel inspired and want to write I just pull out my Rocketbook and let it flow and it feels so good knowing that I’ll be able to access my writing digitally and am not wasting tons of paper.
A few kinks - if you want to use the transcription feature, I found that it can only handle 2 pages at a time. If I try to do any more than that, it fails. At the end of the day it still gets the job done, just requires a few more clicks on my end to consolidate the files. It would also be great if the words could be added to a google doc file, rather than as a txt file in google drive. I just started using OneNote since I wanted more of a digital notebook feel and that accomplishes the same thing, I like to have my tools consolidated (everything in g suite) but OneNote is fine for now.
Overall, love love love! All other digital notebooks I've found on the market are either tablets(doesn't have the pen and paper feel) or actually just digital pens that record your pen strokes(wasteful since you still use regular paper). 100% recommend.
