Amazing

I am a student who loves taking notes digitally, but sometimes that just can't happen. With this notebook, I am able to have all my notes in one place (google drive), and still be able to write notes by hand whenever I need/want to. I currently have two notebooks, the executive sized and the letter sized. My only complaints are that light colored ink doesn't scan, and these notebooks are not very conducive to writing quickly, as the ink often smudges (I wouldn't recommend them to lefties). With my first notebook, which I got a few years ago, I was not informed that it is not advised to use the erasers that come with the pens, and this led to ruining my first notebook. However, now that I know this, I have another one that is in very good condition, but I am still disappointed by the loss of my executive sized one. I still love this notebook, it allowed me to slim down my backpack, I just wish I had known not to use the eraser.

The excitement is over!

I was excited and loving this notebook when I bought it few months ago. I use it every day, and as others mentioned it; without writing on it hard, after erasing it you can see the marks of the previous notes. Now, the pages are not taking the ink, and it has become a major issue for me. With the price paid, this should last at least at year. I won’t buy another until this issue is fixed.

Excellent... but

I have an executive size Core. While it love it even more now that I’ve bought the cover for it; I do have one problem. The last couple of the already scarce pages broke from the binder. There are so few pages that it is heartbreaking when you lose one, let alone two. Perhaps they could be reinforced a little more to keep from breaking off with regular use? Beyond that, this is perfect for all my projects, notes and work.

Great, but...

This notebook is perfect for my purposes. I'm a therapist and like to take notes during session, but then enter them in the electronic medical record and shred the paper notes. I was wasting a lot of paper before the Rocketbook. I really love the functionality and reusability. The reason I'm only giving it 3 stars is because I find it very frustrating that after only about 4 months, the pages don't take the gel ink that well anymore. I'm not sure what the life expectancy of the Core is, but I would have hoped it was longer than this. I like to use the gel ink because I can buy refills, instead of going through the Pilot Fineliner marker pens frequently and wasting more plastic. The gel pens work great on the Cloud Cards and regular paper. I would love if the notebook pages could be made to have the same surface as the Cloud Cards, as they seem to take both the gel and marker ink really well.

Organization but not sustainable

I loved the idea of this, as a writer who likes to use pen and paper. Being able to scan the pages and then wipe clean is great (it doesn’t wipe fully clean but that doesn’t bother me too much). My biggest issue after using it for a few weeks is how fast the pen runs out. I don’t want to constantly order plastic pens. I wish there was some sort of refill option. I think this company’s focus is organization and not sustainability.

Too few pages!

A great product idea! I like that I can be eco-friendly, and have a way to organize my notes easily. However, I find that I fill up the rocketbook core very quickly (within a week), and for someone who often needs to reference my notes, it can be a inconvenient and frustrating when I've already erased to make room for more notes. It almost defeats the purpose of writing things down and having a notebook. If they added one with many more pages, I'd give it a 5/5!

Got a messed up notebook

I love my other rocket book notebooks, but this one was put together with some of the inside pages on the outside of the cover, which I find extremely annoying. I would like to give this notebook another chance but I think I deserve some sort of replacement or refund for this mistake. Especially with a reusable notebook it's important for the pages to be inside the cover not outside. It makes it feel unusable to me. Otherwise it would be a fine notebook. Rocket books needs to check their products better before shipping them apparently.
