Not sure why I didn't buy one sooner!

I generally hate writing paper notes. They are never where you need them when you need them, you can't search them, can't send/share them, they use up natural resources, they can be lost/damaged, the list goes on. As soon as I found a viable note-taking system on a computer I've stuck primarily with that. But as the pandemic has worn on and now my work meetings have morphed to include multiple locations and Zoom, Teams, WebEx, etc. I was finding I had the same problem again. It's hard to pay attention to a virtual meeting and type notes. And if you don't have two screens available, then forget even trying. The solution: Rocketbook! I honestly don't know why I hadn't considered buying one sooner, but it is perfect. I write my notes and with a quick picture from my phone they are sent to my computer with an OCR Transcription. Is it perfect - no. But it solves the problem(s), was well within my budget, and works everytime.

Easy to use, big improvement on the standard notep

I've had this thing for 2 or 3 years and it works best when you take notes and immediately upload and index them. Ghosting on the pages from old ink is a flaw but it's still a very functional tool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Making life organized!

I have a Core and an Executive, have used both everyday for 3 years. Wouldn't give them up for the world. I sit in meetings 20hrs a week and have added tabs to my books for each meeting. I scan and save daily to different files. I use the pens, markers and the highlighters. I can't imagine the amount of paper I would have had to sift through if hadn't stumbled across the Rocketbook products! I have purchased them for most of my family putting them to the test at college, personal business and other jobs. Tried and True Rocketbook Rocks!

Before I had this I was carrying around a huge heavy binder and it was so annoying! Glad I got this, although I do have a few things I think could be better.
1. Frixon pens run out very quickly, they last maybe two weeks before I have to get a new one. This can be very annoying when your overseas, and it’s very expensive because it’s imported. I don’t know if this is because of the paper or the pen, but it is something important to know. To compare, on regular paper, my pens used to last at least 1-2 years.
2. Do NOT write hard. I write pretty hard, it’s a habit of mine. When I scanned my notes in it caused indentations that I couldn’t get off.
3. The ## that marks your title doesn’t always work. When if does scan in, it may say what’s below it as the title or have some funky spellings like if your title was supposed to be Ch 3 Algebra 1 Exam Work it came out Ch 3 Algebra 1 Farm Work. They’re close, but it ends up meaning something else. At least though, it makes me laugh. Also when scanning in languages like Mandarin, it was trying to have my mandarin words below the actual title as the title. It came out as a bunch of numbers and symbols XD.
4.For me I find the smart lists annoying. It highlights random things in red that are not smart list stuff.
5. Do not get food on your pages. It doesn’t come off. The scanner picks it up. When I was washing my planner, I didn’t realize that the counter wasn’t clean and it stained my notebook.
6. The eraser doesn’t quite work. I think it’s erasing the paper with it, because a white residue come off with it
7. The ink takes forever to dry. You need to wait at least 10 seconds before flipping a page, otherwise all your notes will smudge off.
8. Some ink color don’t come up on camera. I didn’t realize this until I tried to scan all my pages in(I don’t scan until it’s full) and none of the green ink I was using came up. I had to erase it, and I lost of my notes for that time. It came up, but what it said was unidentifiable. Something to note if that if you use two different colors, such as blue and orange it picked up. I used it for my middle school chemistry exam notes and it worked! That was probably the biggest thing I've used it for.
9. Also, as I take all my classes on my ipad, and my parents haven’t given me a phone yet, it’s actually kind of a struggle to pull up my notes. The folders can malfunction sometimes, and it’s easier in the app, except, it only has what you scanned in on that device, not on another(I previously used another iPad for scanning).
10. I know this is Frixon’s problem, but I want frixon markers to draw with. My mom yells at me when I use highlighters instead. I like drawing on paper, but since we travel, there’s not enough space so I like drawing on here.
Now that some issues and things to note are out of the way, let me talk about why you should use this! First of all, while there may issues, all products have them. Great for the Eco-Friendly

I bought the core notebook a few months ago and it has not disappointed. It’s perfect for those trying to be environmentally conscious as well as those such as myself that have piles of half used notebooks. The core has allowed me to drop down to one notebook and return to taking hand written notes. The ability to scan pages to the clouds means I have access to my notes without having to carry around a notebook.
The slick paper does take some getting used to and although it completely erased it does tend to leave a slight imprint from the force of writing. For my left handed friends it does tend to smudge if you rest your hand on the paper.
However, I have and will continue recommending Rocketbooks to everyone. It’s a great product and company that continue improving their products and expanding their product line.

Works great for the most part

I like that I can save paper. I've taken notes from Webinars and sent them to my email. I kind of don't like that I have to erase pages before they're on for a month though. I wanted a list of my hot keys in the notebook for my work but they would have stained if I didn't upload and erase them. I had to erase my husband's days off, for example. I'd written 3 months worth in a note. Well, I can't keep the other two months if I have to delete before a month. So I lost all those days. (I didn't upload them as they weren't that important). It's just inconvenient.
I like that I can use regular ink to make templates and I've made a couple. One is the breakdown of a paycheck. And the other is the stats for my writings. I used to do that on small notepaper. Now I have a ready template to fill in each week.
I would prefer a different binding though I'm not sure which one would be better. But the pages are starting to tear at the binding. I don't want them to fall out.
I'd like the OCR to be better. I write fairly small so it has a hard time. By small I mean I stay within the dots. So it really should be better. Also, I'd usually rather write notes in cursive, but OCR would have a hard time with that.
I added some sticky tabs as I saw on YouTube. Let's me quickly move to a page. It is sometimes hard to turn the pages so these tabs help.

Good little notebook; just one suggestion

Proud owner of a Wave book that I received as a gift several years ago. Recently bought a Core it's a definite upgrade. Always felt some sort of way about zapping a notebook in the microwave, so I like that I can erase my Core while in the office or on the go. Some reviewers mentioned black ink seems to be problematic, which works for me because I like to color-code my notes. The app is intuitive and easy. Honestly my only suggestion is I wish there was a pocket or holder of some sort to keep the towel in place. Overall, adding this product to this year's Christmas gift list.

I love my Rocketbook. I own a mini that I keep in my purse to write my shopping list or my to do list. I also have an executive “core” that I use for work and note taking, etc. I have considered ordering the fusion but it doesn’t appear to offer a daily calendar or format that I could use for scheduling multiple clients a day. If they offer a planner like this in the future, I will consider it. For now, I will keep using my core. I have drawn my own daily calendar that is working alright for now.
