Sleek and spacious

I really like this refrigerator overall but there are two things I wish were better.
On the plus side, for a mid size fridge, it’s able to store a lot and it looks beautiful. The freezer layout with two tiered drawers and up to four sections is awesome. The slow illumination when opened is pleasing and the alarm is a helpful feature in case it fails to close.
Here’s what I don’t Iike: The shelf height options are not ideally ideally spaced accommodate a gallon of milk plus another shelf above it. I think the idea is you have the option to use the door shelf for milk, but my personal preference is to use door shelves for condiments. We opted to address this issue by simply removing a shelf on one side. It worked out ok, I just feel like we lost valuable shelf space.
My other nit is that the ice dispenser disperses ice everywhere. I think the opening is too wide.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wanted French doors, but had limited space due to cutout for cabinets. Also Wanted water and ice on the door. Not much to pick from. This fridge worked well. Have 1 month, non-issue so far. Outside does nor seen to stain or smudge from hands. Makes ice quick. With ice on door, you do lose some door storage, which was ok with us.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Maximum capacity size for our sized kitchen

The refrigerator is still fairly new; and we are impressed with it's performance! I especially like the amount of ice production; but the real test will be during the summer season.

Was nice for 1st year, but having issue

Its a nice fridge but after a year the door handles have come loose and no way to tighten them. Also shows fingerprints easily.

Problems detecting new water filter

I've had the product a liitle over a year. The user manual is lacking when it comes to understandable instructions for resetting the warning light that indicates time for the water filter change. The refrigerator is also unable to recognize that a new filter has been inserted. I wouldn't recommend this model, though I like GE products in general.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Once you install the water filter you will need to press and hold the RESET WATER FILTER button on the dispenser for 3 seconds.
