It’s just ok. The side storage it’s not bad. The freezer its very small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything we wanted and more!

We loved our old GE fridge, but we had to leave it behind after selling our home. So when it came time to buy a new refrigerator we automatically looked for a GE. As it happens, we needed a specific size (33" wide) with specific options (water and ice dispenser in the door). LG offered a similar model/size, but it only had water in the door and not ice. Also, we read several troubling reviews about LG and the class action lawsuit against them for compressor failures in the fridges. The fact that we had no choice but to go with GE was fine with us. We were hoping to find a GE model in the first place.
So far, we are very very happy with our GE fridge. I kind of wish it had nicer door trays. Ours are very basic, but they do the job and in the grand scheme of things, it's really not a big deal. A few features that I do like are the lighting (top and two side lights in the main area), the ease of replacing the water filter, and the solid feel of the doors. All in all, it has been a great fridge and we are expecting it to last a very long time. (Fingers crossed!!)

overall a nice fridge. My only complaint is the bottom drawer,it should be split in half so u don t have to open both doors to slide it out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a replacement for a faulty unit that was noisy from the start & failed within 2 years due to substandard wiring. This unit has been quiet from the start & hopefully the inherent problem has been corrected
