sturdy but some features lack thought

Nice refrigerator but the shelving cannot be moved around to accommodate certain height items. The containers on the door where the ice maker is are so small you can hardly put anything in them. The other ones cannot be moved or spaced equally because they do not have the places to move them to. Freezer is large and has dividers to keep things separated. great quality but they need to thick of accommodating different size items better. We had to remove a shelf to put a milk carton. The display on the ice maker is in black, you cannot see what the words are over each button, we assumed they would light up but they do not. You have to turn on a light to pick the feature you want, not every well thought out
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stainless steel exterior great!

Stainless exterior is great and really does not show fingerprints. Shelf configuration is not as efficient as the one we had in the LG Refrigerator. The ice maker is difficult to remove and replace.

Love the ice & water in the door.

I love that it has water and Ice in the dispenser in the door. It works great but it can be noisy when making ice and dispensing water. I feel it could use a buffer in the door.

Great features for storage.

So far, so good. This refrigerator is exactly what we were looking for. It fits in the space we had and it is so nice to finally be able to get larger items in it than we ever had with our old side by side refrigerator and having the ease of organizing the bottom freezer as well as the shelves inside for easier access is really nice.

Great looking refrigerator!

We love the looks of our new GE French-Door refrigerator. It is replacing our old GE Profile Side-by-Side. The side by side has more room in the bins for things like fruits and veggies, and more items fit in the side by side doors but the French Door fridge has more room in the freezer for larger items. The ice maker holds a lot less ice than the side by side. We will get use to the smaller storage areas in the French Door fridge. No one refrigerator is perfect but the looks of the new one is very nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No door in door feature. Besides and back of the top freezer drawer inserts are too low and things fall out.

I love my new GE frig! The ice maker is in the door which leaves me more room for storage. Plus the led lights are fantastic so you can see EVERYTHING inside.

We were told that average lifespan is 7 to 10 years. I think that is ridiculous. They could certainly be designed to last longer than that. Also, the freezer drawer does not slide properly and overall it seems cheaply built.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
