Very good product and one of the few that would fit in the space that I have for a refrigerator. Ice maker keeps up with our needs and is very roomy and quiet.

60 cycle vibration, continuous

GE Refrigerator: New today, 60 cycle vibration, + cyclic additional vibration every 30-60 seconds, not the ice maker and not coming from the evap. fan, fill valve or other identifiable component (could be the compressor.) Noise is located on the back side of the unit, where there is no removable panel,

freezer set to zero, installed a freezer thermometer, reads -15 Deg F; and still cooling down.
Can set temp on the display, no way to read actual temp; Profile which quit after 15 yrs. It had better display features.

I love .u new 3 door fridge. It is very spacious with easy access to all areas. My only drawback is that the Dispenser Controm Panel I'd very difficult to read. It would be better if the words were lit or at least in bolder printer.

Poor QA/Poor Product

This is actually a continuation of my earlier review since I see no way of updating a review.
Ice on walls of refrigerator compartment, frost in door hinge area, frost outside of drawer rails in freezer compartment, frozen meats in refrigerator (all on a brand new refrigerator). Repairman troubleshot problems, ordered new rails for freezer drawer and control board. Two weeks later, he replaced those parts with the new items. It was pointed out that the inside door to the ice-maker was sorta loose, so he ordered a new door. The original problem remained. Two weeks later, he replaced that ice-maker door (it didn't feel any different). The original problem remains, that is, ice on the wall of the refrigerator compartment, frost buildup in the left door opening where the two holes are for porting cold air, and frost buildup outside of the rails on the freezer drawer (that frost buildup is so severe that it blocks the light switch for the freezer, so there is no light). When the freezer drawer is open, running your hand along the gasket around that drawer shows that it's wet while refrigerator is going through a defrost cycle. That cycle reduces the amount of frost, but it builds up rapidly afterwards.
After three repair visits and multiple parts replaced over a six-week period, the problem hasn't even been reduced, let alone fixed. It's clearly a lemon, unless this is typical of this model. Our distributor is going to replace this one with another (same model). Hoping that not all examples are as bad as this one has been.
It does not appear to us that any of the actions taken so far have been more than a stab in the dark. I don't know where the moisture to form the frost is coming from, but I would expect a repairman to know the possibilities. Two different repairmen on three visits, but none of them had a clue. Either the parts/processes that are supposed to remove that moisture don't work or the amount of moisture coming in is too great for those parts/processes to handle.

We love the look of the refrigerator, and the inside lights are so bright. Our only negative remark would be that it has a constant hum...we think it is the compressor making the noise. It worries us that it might be faulty.
