Basic fridge with a nice door water/ice feature.

I had to get a 33 inch wide to fit in the space so as a basic fridge it works and had limited options. This fridge is very cold or my old one just wasn’t any more which I do like. Had to turn the temp up from the the default as it was freezing things in the meat/cheese drawer. We had a GE Profile as the last fridge and this one has a bit more room in the interior. And the recessed lights don’t take up space like the old one did. A few things that just bug me. The Freezer has nice organization but the plastic drawers with solid bottoms don’t let light through to the bottom shelf and just feels cheap. When you open the freezer drawer it pulls the top drawer out with it regardless if you want it or not.
The control panel is not readable when standing within arms length of the fridge. I had to put labels on it so my elderly mother could read it and me for that matter. If you have low lights on forget seeing anything and bring a flashlight so you can see it. The designers should be ashamed. The motor/compressor is loud. The compressor has a growling sound that can be heard through the wall into our living room. I’m assuming something is vibrating somewhere so we will see if it actually lasts a year. I’m glad I got the extended warranty. The ice machine doesn’t hold much ice so if you need ice to make ice cream you’ll need to buy ice. The shelf heights are set and can’t be changed which is a downgrade from my previous GE which is unfortunate. Being able to adjust the shelves should be a basic feature for the price point.

Bad fridge

Read all the problems with noise, frost, dispenser. All are true. Bought June 22 still battling issues today. Terrible fridge. Was given a letter of commitment that wasn’t honored. Shame on you GE.

Like the way the doors open and close our old samsung you had to close the left door first.
iI also like the large compartments on the doors .

Water dispenser drips constantly

The fridge layout is decent, and the water and ice dispenser is nicely laid out. So far, no frozen produce, which is great. Unfortunately there is water always dripping out of the water dispenser. The refrigerator is also quite a bit louder than the LG unit it replaced.
