Exceeded expectations

So happy we settled on this model. We were limited in our choices due to space and this GE model met all of what we were looking for. Fits perfectly and so far runs quiet for a refrigerator. The French doors and freezer on the bottom are perfect and the external ice and water are so convenient.. Love the interior space, so easy to see everything and the lighting is great. Energy star compliant to boot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Things to be aware of

Since it has taken 6 months to get this refigerator, I had high expectations. 1. Cold water dispenser only dispenses about 12 oz. of cold water. After that, it’s room temp. Disappointing! 2. Ice maker jams, frequently, then doesn’t make ice. I had my doubts seeing the ice maker is really part of the refrigerator. I was right. 3. Freezer pull out drawer can’t be pulled out separately from top freezer drawer. Soooo inconvenient! Poor design. You can shove the top drawer in with great force, but it will break eventually. 4. Control panel has no lighted indicators such as “water” “ice”” crushed ice” REALLY?????? another poor design. Otherwise, compressor is quiet, cools nicely. I opted to buy American, I had my last GE for over 25 years. Obviously, should have shopped around more. All in all, disappointing product. Oh, love the design of the French door closing mechanism.

Cheap quality, expensive price tag

I hate this fridge. After waiting 3.5 months, I was so disappointed with the craftsmanship and quality of it. After our died, I needed a replacement and had few options with the space I have in my kitchen for a fridge. This fridge had the amenities I wanted and had decent reviews. The quality and plastic is so cheap and flimsy. It’s only a matter of time before something breaks. I’ve also started to notice that items in the fridge are freezing. Definitely not worth the price tag. Why do companies now make the cheapest products with the same high price tag. Quality no longer exists.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect size for mobile home

This is the perfect size. We needed a 33" wide refrigerator since we are limited on space. We like the french doors. So far we are pleased with our purchase. The only thing I wish this refrigerator had that is doesn't is....the type of finish that doesn't show fingerprints on stainless steel. That's the only drawback for me.

I bought this refrigerator due to GE's reliability and overall good reviews. However, when I received this refrigerator on 3/23, the ice maker and water dispenser were broken. It has been almost 3 months and the the problem still has not been fixed.
