EXCELLENT SECOND FRIDGE

We got this to replace our old failing garage fridge. This one is a dream. The fridge itself stays nice and cool as it should and the items don’t freeze (or get too warm in the door).
The look with the freezer on the bottom and swing door is very nice. The bottom freezer set up gives ample room.

The quickest and cleanest way to eliminate the squeaking of a refrigerator door is to lubricate the top and bottom hinges with the below recommended oils, then work the door back and forth until the noise goes away.
Paraffin wax (not candle wax) - can also be used on the door gaskets
Petroleum jelly - recommended for hinges, door gaskets and Fresh Food drawers/bins (including rollers)
Mineral oil - general use anywhere, can be washed off
If none of this works, service may be needed. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliances technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

I bought this fridge to use as a spare in my garage. Happy with the looks of fridge.
My old fridge in garage had wire shelves & top freezer & overall it was too short.
New GE is a great replacement

By the time old one removed and new one installed, it became clear that this was not counter depth. 30 inch width, bottom freezer, but full depth takes up much needed floor space causing narrow passage in front of refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My old refrigerator stopped working so I had to look into purchasing a new one. I ended up with this GE model and couldn't be happier. I chose the freezer on the bottom model because I use the refrigerator part much more than the freezer. The refrigerator is perfect! Nice and roomy and I can easily access all my food. I was a little surprised at how small the freezer section is but I made it work. I'm a vegetarian so I don't really need much freezer space for meats and such. Overall the unit works very well and it looks great in my kitchen.

its a nice frig, but less shelf space.

I had a side-by-side frig before this one. With this model, there is less space in the rrig section - no dedicated egg drawer, no cheese and meet drawer. Only two adjustable shelves in the main frig. Otherwise, it keeps my food cold.
